The classic returns:
A meticulous reproduction of the iconic Marshall drive pedal. the original Guv'nor pedal was released in 1988. It set the standard for the following generations of distortion pedals. The sound ranges from soft and punchy to classic, hard with ripped gain. It was the first pedal to pack Marshall's "Big Black Box" sound into a "Little Black Box".
A leap into the present: the vintage reissue of the Guv'nor is now available. This new edition faithfully reproduces the classic sound. It offers a smooth overdrive sound with a hint of compression. The pedal is housed in a case that is an exact replica of the original, from the unique shape to the individually coloured knobs.
This faithful reproduction sticks to what made this pedal special: from the unique design to the instantly recognisable sound. The Reissue Guv'nor was designed and carefully recreated in the same UK factory that has been producing the legendary Marshall amplifiers for sixty years.
