I was looking for a sound with an extremely short, dry, clear but also high-pitched sound that was still dynamic and could be embedded in the overall sound like a shaker. I couldn't find what I was looking for, so something unique and new had to be created. Four individual cymbals combined to create a previously unknown sound. The result is incredible! A unique sound that blends beautifully with ghost notes and other subdivisions while making a percussive statement. Perfect sound without unwanted overtones or sustain. The Crasher Hats have established themselves as an integral part of my setup and can be heard on all my current recordings. Definitely give them a try! They are such a versatile instrument.
