The cymbals in the Byzance range are manufactured using the "mould cymbal" process. This means that the bronze alloy of each cymbal is moulded separately into individual castings. This is the fundamental difference in the manufacturing process of the new Byzance cymbals. More traditional manual labour is not possible in cymbal manufacture
