The AD-708 active UHF antenna signal splitter covers a frequency range from 470 MHz to 850 MHz and is designed for operating up to four UHF diversity receivers on just two antennas. The total gain from the antenna input to each output is approximately a factor of 1, so there are no level losses as in passive splitters. For diversity operation, the AD-708 offers two antenna inputs, each of which is distributed to four outputs.
At the input, the AD-708 automatically recognises the attenuation caused by the signal lines to the antennas and automatically adjusts the gain of the antennas in the system with auto-gain function (AT-70W, AT-90W, AT-100) or the signal amplifier with auto-gain function MPB-30.
Operation is possible with directly connected antennas as well as with remote models. In addition to the four split antenna outputs, there is also a looped-through connection to which further splitters can be connected for more complex installations. Both antenna inputs provide a supply voltage for active antennas or boosters.
