The frequency response is optimised in such a way that the voice already comes through excellently in the band mix without any intervention in the mixing console EQ. The consistent supercardioid polar pattern isolates the useful signal very well from background noise and makes the microphone resistant to feedback, even on loud stages. The MM-39 is very robust, can take almost anything and can withstand even the toughest stage applications. It has a lockable on/off switch.
