The MM-80 is a condenser vocal microphone used by demanding amateur musicians, professional singers and sound engineers. The consistent supercardioid characteristic isolates the voice from background noise such as an adjacent instrument and minimises feedback. The multi-layer metal grille protects the capsule from mechanical damage and at the same time prevents annoying pop noises in vocal applications. With phantom power from 12 - 48 V, the microphone achieves maximum sensitivity and precise sound reproduction. The specially developed microphone capsule suspension prevents disturbing structure-borne noise. The supercardioid polar pattern guarantees optimum directivity and exceptional resistance to feedback.
