The Tone Capture GTR pedal is based on Mooer's unique non-linear IR technology 'Tone Capture'. This pedal allows you to capture and emulate the tonal character and sound of any guitar by sampling the unique tonal characteristics of the instrument. This is achieved by comparing the differences between the guitar you want to use ('Source') and the guitar you want to sound like ('Target'). Then a complex calculation follows and an 'uncannily' accurate digital recreation of the 'target' guitar sound and character is born.
The days of lugging around multiple guitars are over. The Tone Capture Guitar Pedal gives you a variety of guitar tones without having to carry multiple guitars. You only need your acoustic guitar for an intro in your set? Don't want to take your vintage Strat to the gig? No problem! You can test the unique sound qualities of each of your guitars at home and take them with you wherever you go in the compact Tone Capture GTR pedal.
