The Palmer PEABO is a balanced switcher with one input and two outputs. This makes it the perfect choice for routing a signal to two different inputs.
If you switch your vocal microphone between FOH and monitor mixer on stage, you can communicate something to the monitor mixer or even the band.
Two different sound settings: You sometimes want to have a different effect or sound on your microphone, for example a "phone effect" or more reverb. Connect both outputs of the PEABO to two channels of the mixer and set them differently. Now you can switch back and forth between the two channels on stage as you wish.
You can use the PEABO to address two different rooms or zones.
Switching is done via a solid foot switch, a red LED indicates which output is selected. Output A can be attenuated by 15 dB and output B by 6, 15 or 21 dB via a slide switch. A ground lift switch helps to avoid ground loops. The PEABO is housed in a solid all-metal enclosure with protruding cheeks for optimum protection of the inputs and outputs. Pre-drilled holes allow easy and secure mounting in a rack or on a pedalboard.
The PEABO is completely passive, only a 9 volt block battery is required to power the LED.
