The sE4400 is a real all-rounder and the revised version of the popular sE4400a. The dual diaphragm enables a wide range of directional characteristics and makes the microphone a versatile choice for use in the studio and on stage.
The sE4400 offers four different polar patterns - omnidirectional, cardioid, hypercardioid and figure-of-eight - a LoCut with two selectable operating frequencies (40Hz and 80Hz) and a two-stage switchable pad (10dB / 20dB). Despite its small dimensions, the housing accommodates a 1" double diaphragm as well as high-quality electronics and switches.
With a thickness of less than 3/4" (approx. 1.9cm), the sE4400 is extremely thin and fits comfortably in the palm of your hand. The flat, rounded housing design allows the microphone to be mounted close to the guitar cabinet or flat over the drum head. It is also perfect for vocals or voice over.
Handcrafted with the highest attention to detail, built with a roadworthy die-cast all-metal housing, metal switches and a robust basket made of spring steel wire that can take a beating on the road: The sE4400 impresses with its down-to-earth elegance and offers discreet electronics that emphasise the functions that are really needed.
