The G Sub 1501 dp is a multifunctional top-of-the-range subwoofer with integrated digital amplifier electronics with 2400 watts of power @ 4 ohms (AES) and DSP controller. The 15" long excursion neodymium chassis is driven by the built-in amplifier. In addition, a passive G Sub 1501 can be connected to a parallel output. Various factory-configured presets and volume settings can be called up.

The integrated DSP controller is based on the same principle as the external controllers HDLM 8 and DSP 2.6. The latency time of just 0.8 ms (between analogue input and output) is achieved by a sample rate of 96 kHz. Another feature that characterises the DSP controller is its very low background noise. By simulating a transformer-balanced input, the sensitivity to hum and surround noise (e.g. due to unfavourable current conditions) is also significantly minimised. High-quality electronic components from the industrial sector and a first-class circuit concept ensure high audio quality and overload resistance and effectively minimise interference noise.

The built-in DSP controller is in a standard configuration state ex works, which corresponds to the specifications in the user manual. The user can upload special presets to the
