Product information "Sennheiser e 614"
The e 614 is a permanently polarised condenser microphone with a supercardioid polar pattern. It was developed for demanding applications where an extended frequency range, high level stability, fast transient response and compact design are required. With its transmission range of 40 Hz to 20 kHz, the e-614 captures the full room sound and the entire body of the instrument. The supercardioid polar pattern ensures greatly reduced crosstalk with other instruments on stage. Although the microphone is primarily designed for percussion miking, it is also ideal for woodwind and string instruments. Thanks to its excellent acoustic properties, the e 614 can also be used for demanding home recordings.
