The Rev1/2 filter is a 2140 filter developed by Dave Rossum - the modern counterpart to the original 2040 filter found in the Prophet-5 Rev1 and Rev2 models.

The Rev3 filter utilises the CEM 3320 designed by Doug Curtis

The filter can be set to self-oscillate using the resonance control

Vintage control:

Recreates the characteristics of the different Prophet 5 models by varying the oscillators, envelopes, amplifiers and other parameters. This allows you to move from a very stable 4, as in the Prophet-5 Rev4, the new version, to a 1, which is based on the Prophet-5 Rev1, the rarest and most temperamental of all Prophet-5 models.

Control voltage input and output (1 x 6.35 mm jack socket), 0 to +5 volt input and output signal. Configured for operation with 1 volt per octave.

Gate input and output (1 x 6.35 mm jack socket). Accepts on/off signals between 1.5 and 15 volts to trigger the envelopes of a single voice in the Prophet-5. Outputs a 15 volt on/off signal to trigger the envelopes of external synthesisers.
