Single-coil pickup with high output for instruments with a warm sound. Although it looks like the SSL-1 and definitely produces a vintage tone, the overwound coil produces a higher level, more sustain and great overtones. This pickup rocks, and it rocks hard. It asserts itself perfectly in any mix, but becomes beautifully clear when the volume pot is turned down. Ideal for Texas blues rock, classic rock and heavy rock.
