HDMI® (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) is a fully digital interface developed by the U-Electronics industry in collaboration with the film industry. HDMI® transmits digital video and multi-channel HD audio data losslessly and bi-directionally without data compression via a 19-pin compact connector with a bandwidth of up to 18.0 Gbit/s (HDMI® 2.0) or 10.2 Gbit/s (HDMI®1.4) [max. resolution UHD/4K@60fps]. An audio return channel (ARC) and the Ethernet channel (HEC) are integrated. Universal remote control of all devices connected via HDMI® is possible via the integrated CEC interface.
