The DM-1B is particularly tough: as the microphone with the largest diaphragm in the new Sontronics range, it was specially designed for kick drums. However, it also delivers impressive results when miking bass amps. Even volumes of up to 150dB using the internal -15dB pad circuit cause no problems. The DM-1B is supplied in a solid aluminium flight case.
