The TF51 is a new interpretation of the Austrian microphone sound of the TELEFUNKEN ELA M 251E and C12. The TF51 continues this heritage with a smooth midrange and an airy top end that captures every nuance in pleasing detail. This makes it the first choice for outstanding vocals, acoustic instruments and drums.

The lifelike reproduction is created with high-quality components. The 6072A vacuum tube (also included in our ELA M 251E and C12) is connected to an edge terminated capsule similar to the historic CK12. The output transformer is a German Haufe transformer, from the original manufacturer for TELEFUNKEN. This attention to detail gives the TF51 a beautifully open and smooth sound profile.
