The Warm Audio WA-47jr large diaphragm condenser microphone is a discrete, transformerless FET version of the renowned '47 classic that has been used on countless hit albums over the last 50 years. The WA-47jr is suitable for use in professional recording studios as well as for home studio, live and broadcast applications. It harmonises superbly with vocals, acoustic and electric guitars, acoustic and electric bass, drums, piano, strings, brass and woodwind instruments and numerous other sources.The WA-47jr uses a specially developed k47 capsule, which was already used in the classic '47 microphone and is also used in its big Warm Audio brother, the WA-47. It is carefully and precisely manufactured by an Australian-based capsule manufacturer and has a very similar sound to the original '47 microphones.High-quality Toshiba FETs, Wima film capacitors and Panasonic electrolytic capacitors are used in the 100% discrete circuitry of the WA-47jr.
