Thanks to the built-in X731 OpAmp, the WA12 MKII can sound lively, clean and lifelike, but can also go into mild saturation at higher amplification levels. The resulting harmonic distortion is an enrichment for any mix.
The often neglected power supply for the preamplifier is provided by a sophisticated internal power supply unit with a low-noise toroidal transformer.
