The CFX, Yamaha's flagship piano, now has more dynamic layers, 88-key sampling and twice the sample length of its predecessor. A Character Grand is also available, a well-rehearsed German grand piano from the 1980s. This stands out with its edgier, yet round sound and is perfect for pop and jazz music, among other things. The U1 Upright, Yamaha's top-of-the-range piano, has been tuned to provide a contemporary sound for modern pop songs.
