SUPER ARTICULATION 2/ SUPER ARTICULATION+:
The PSR-SX920 is the first instrument in the SX series to be equipped with Super Articulation2 (S.Art2) technology.
Super Articulation2 gives the voices a high degree of realism previously only found on top-of-the-range arranger workstations. S.Art2 voices offer detailed instrument articulations such as glissandi and other nuanced effects that add expressive, lifelike instrument characteristics to your performances.
Instruments often produce different sounds depending on how the notes are played. For example, stringed instruments can be bowed or plucked. Until now, you had to switch between the voices on your keyboard for these different sounds. With the new Super Articulation Plus Voices (S.Art+), you can now instantly switch between articulations at the touch of a button.
LIVE CONTROLS & ASSIGNABLE KEYS:
During a performance, quick access to important functions is crucial. With 8 assignable panel buttons and 6 shortcuts on the home screen, you can instantly access your favourite functions with a single touch. Assign functions such as sound filtering or Style Dynamics Control to the Live Control knobs to edit them in real time.
CROSSFADE PORTAMENTO:
Portamento is a musical technique that smoothes pitch changes, creating a smooth transition between notes. The crossfade portamento function in the PSR-SX creates a smooth transition between the notes you play, adding expressive dynamics and emotional depth to your performance.
PLAYLIST:
Playlist is the best way to organise registration memory banks into convenient playlists that can be instantly recalled during performance.
With the updated user interface, playlist entries can be sorted from A to Z or from Z to A. You can jump through playlist records alphabetically and filter by a specific term in the records.
If you import MusicFinder entries from an older instrument, the style name is automatically transferred to the new playlist entry.
TOUCHSCREEN:
The PSR-SX has a central 7-inch touchscreen that is clearly visible both when standing and sitting. The intuitive graphical user interface gives you intuitive control of the instrument's powerful features, so you have everything you need at your fingertips.
