The 650 is an excellent alternative for those who are serious about playing the clarinet but have to watch their budget. The design of the cup, bulb, tone holes and other details are very similar to the SEV model in the Custom series. As a result, it has a warm, round and very resonant sound. The 650 is made from carefully selected and seasoned grenadilla wood, with many production steps, including the silver plating, being carried out by hand. Its conical tone holes are also undercut by hand to achieve precise intonation and excellent tonal balance. It also has beautifully shaped keys, which are adjusted by master instrument makers to achieve perfect balance.
