Yamaha has retained the basic design of the successful YCR-2330 and YCR-2310 cornet, while developing it further in some areas.
The new ML bore allows beginners a quick and easy response. The 2000 series features a two-piece brass bell with ideal material thickness and a rounder leadpipe shape for improved sound and playability.
In addition, the newly designed, more solid valve covers ensure a full sound and first-class projection.
Advantages over the old model:
Bell: New lighter bell with optimised material thickness. Easy response and improved endurance.
Valve material: Monel metal. Improved sound and durability.
Valve cover and buttons: New design. The slightly more solid shape gives the player additional tone colours. Loosening to oil the valves is also easy for children to handle.
Slide production: Multi-part slide production process. Provides more tone colours, improved playing feel and simplifies repairs.
Bore: 11.65mm/0.459". Ensures a quick and easy response.
