The YAS/YTS-280 saxophones provide a perfect start as they have been specially designed for young beginners.
They are relatively light in weight and have a particularly ergonomic shape, making them easy to hold and play. As you would expect from Yamaha, the intonation is perfect and the sound is first class. The YAS/YTS-280 saxophones are based on the popular 275 series, but with some additional innovations such as a more stable S-bow mount and a new low B-C# joint for more precise adjustment.

Improved deep H/C# connection with longer lever:
