It has all the beloved features of the original, but also offers numerous groundbreaking and long-awaited upgrades. Thanks to its new sample engine, every imaginable sound can now be played expressively. With the touch of a button in the Orba app, everything around you can be recorded and turned into an Orba preset: a bicycle bell, a singing bird or the great voice of your flatmate can be played, looped and shared as a musical melody. Loops can be recorded directly on the device with Orba 2. Drums, bass, chord and lead can be layered to create unique songs. A quantisation function adapts musical phrases to the beat so that every moment fits perfectly into the groove. Since Orba 2 has significantly more memory than its predecessor, much longer songs with up to 128 bars can be created. Orba 2's touch and motion sensors detect even the finest micro-movements.
