It effectively suppresses distant sound sources, making it perfect for demanding live performances with potentially problematic background noise and feedback. At high SPL or feedback, the 4088 directional capsule overcomes such challenges with ease. The bass response has been designed for optimum linearity 2-3 cm away from the sound source.
