The active 2 x 10" woofer in a bass reflex enclosure produces an impressive bass response, powerful kick and surprising depth with its 600 watts. Thanks to its stereo preamp and the corresponding outputs, the subwoofer is suitable for many applications. Thanks to the two mid/high outputs and the adjustable frequency separation in the subwoofer, a 2.1 system, for example, can be reproduced with ease, even with active tops that do not have their own filtering. The extremely moderate dimensions and flexible set-up options with a weight of just under 27.2 kg are not only advantageous for transport and handling, but also for applications that require a small set-up area.

Manufactured to fit perfectly and equipped with many practical details, the Weather Protective Covers are the ideal protection against moisture and wetness, as well as robust transport protection for all LINEAR 5 MK II mid/high units and subwoofers (except LINEAR 5 MK II 308 LTA and 118 Sub HPA).Behind the front flap, a waterproof acoustic gauze protects the front of the speakers and the drivers without affecting the sound of the systems. Depending on the model, the front flap can be simply and securely clipped to the side of the speaker or rolled up at the head end without interfering with stacking, clustering or cardioid setups.At the rear, sturdy, transparent viewing windows keep water away from the electronics, but ensure that the settings can be read at all times and provide access to the controls and a cable inlet.The handles remain usable thanks to closable recesses or cut-outs. On the 115 XA, 112 FA and 115 FA mid/high units, the tilt brackets can be installed even when the Weather Protective Cover is in place. The subwoofer covers provide lockable access to the thread for the spacer rods. The cut-out is kept as small as possible and can be easily sealed if required. Sufficient cooling of the electronics is ensured at all times.
