This means that in "doublechannel" mode, a 16-channel MY16 AE card processes up to eight channels at 24 bit/96 kHz. With the latest generation of recorders, which also process 24/96 as standard (in "Doublespeed" mode like the 02R96), you can create standard connections using the MY-AE96 card.
