With the Major DMX-Node 1, Ethernet data can be quickly and easily converted into DMX and vice versa. The Major DMX-Node 1 supports both Art-Net and sACN. The XLR connection can be configured as an output or input for a DMX universe.The Major DMX-Node 1 has a small and robust metal housing and is supplied with power via a USB connection. Configuration options for the node, such as setting the IP address or the network protocol, are provided via simple, free software. The software also includes a simple Art-Net output/input tester and the option to install firmware updates.

Moving lights are controlled directly via the encoder wheels, with the pan/tilt coordinate field on the multi-touch screen or via automatic effects from the integrated effect generator. Functions such as the patch wizard, RigSync (RDM) and pre-programmed palettes assist with all the necessary preparation work.
