The excellent response of the Bb and C trumpets is decisively characterised by the "continuous arched leadpipe". The air flows continuously through this special leadpipe from the mouthpiece shaft to the beginning of the machine without any air turbulence.The tuning slide in the form of the bell bow is only attached after the machine, in which air turbulence always forms.
