The use of pesticides is deliberately and naturally avoided in the cultivation of Gonzales cane.Due to the ideal climatic conditions in Argentina, the reeds offer excellent vibration behaviour and therefore an outstanding overall quality. The cane harvested in winter is laid out to dry in the sun for a month. Turning the raw material several times gives it its golden yellow colour.The dried raw material is categorised into different quality classes by specially trained experts before the production process continues.Using 3D measuring equipment, the sheet thickness can be precisely determined and thus allocated to the different sheet thicknesses. The additional involvement of professional musicians in the production process ensures consistently high quality and continuous development.
