Through years of experience and global resources, the parts have been faithfully reproduced and the materials used have been selected to meet modern production and environmental standards.The AV10-MHF tweeter cone underwent an elaborate development process with phenolic resin treatment to achieve the same measurement curve as the original. The AV10-MLF woofer consists of customised components that also correspond to the original. To achieve the same strength and weight as the original, Avantone Pro worked with one of the original manufacturers. The new moulded cone allows for more accurate matching than the original, making it possible to offer matched pairs of speakers for the first time!

A huge amount of research and development has resulted in this second generation of robust, great sounding MONDO kick drum microphones from Avantone. In our opinion, these are the best kick mics currently available, both for live clubs and concerts and for serious studio recording. The Avantone MONDO has a very aggressive frequency contour that sounds huge straight out of the box, so there is little need for EQ. Each Avantone MONDO kick drum microphone is made from die-cast zinc and features a brass and steel grille. As with all our microphones, there is NO PLASTIC to break! The MONDO comes in an elegant Cabernet Wine-Red finish, accentuated by a polished nickel trim and black grille. All components are designed and manufactured using the finest materials. A unique feature of all our drum microphones are two machined inserts on the microphone body. These inserts allow the O-rings of the SSM shock mount to "lock" the microphone in place, preventing the microphone from shifting and slipping. Avantone Pro is back with another classic from the past! "Kick", a sub-frequency microphone with the very popular reissue of the "white cone" bass driver (AV10-MLF). The "Kick" sub-kick brings the sub-bass range of your instruments to the fore. To reproduce the popular sound, the driver consists of a cone moulded in one piece like its classic predecessor. This enables higher quality assurance and product consistency during the production process.A heavy, stage-ready, double-braced drum stand is included. The "Kick" uses a realistic wooden drum shell. Therefore, a standard microphone stand would not be sufficient for mounting.

We have taken special care to develop an amplifier in the traditional studio style, with generous VU metres, high-quality Japanese components and a linear toroidal transformer. Avantone Pro has developed a near-exact replica of the original drivers. Utilising global resources and decades of experience in driver construction, the components have been faithfully reproduced and the materials updated to meet modern environmental requirements. The AV10-MHF dome tweeter has undergone a difficult engineering process to achieve the exact phenolic resin doping to match the original performance curve. The AV10-MLF woofer utilises specially manufactured mechanical parts to match the original. Avantone Pro worked closely with one of the original manufacturers of the original cone to achieve exactly the same stiffness and weight. The new moulded cone allows for more accurate matching than the original, making it possible to offer matched pairs of speakers for the first time today!One of the most frequently asked questions about the CLA-10A's is which version of the originals they are based on, and the answer is: all of them! The CLA-10A's have a completely new "Variable Tissue Paper Control". This VTPC can be used to simulate everything from vertical "m" models to horizontal "studio" models and everything in between.
