The 8361A is the largest model in "The Ones" family from Genelec's SAM series. It offers the high resolution of a 3-way system with a low cut-off frequency. It also adapts perfectly to your listening environment. Automatic calibration and control is carried out via the GLM software, and up to 20 DSP filters built into the speakers are available to compensate for room influences. The sound image is linearised and the high resolution and transparency guarantee relaxed, analytical listening. With the Genelec 8361A, you can work without fatigue even in acoustically problematic rooms and make confident decisions.The coaxial chassis is the ideal point source, as the midrange and tweeter are located on the same acoustic axis. The 8361A delivers high sound levels without distortion and is also suitable for longer listening distances. In addition, the large DCW sound guide, which covers the entire front, ensures a wide listening zone, while the radiation remains linear and colouration-free towards the sides. Two oval woofers provide optimum directivity down to the lower frequency ranges. The speaker can be operated horizontally or vertically. Suitable subwoofers are the Genelec 7380 or 7382.

The Genelec 7050C subwoofer is the perfect match for the 8010, 8020 and 8030 monitors, offering analogue inputs and outputs up to 5.1 surround and handling bass management. The integrated crossover ensures that only frequencies above 85 Hz are passed on to the connected speakers. This reduces the load on the speakers in the bass range and allows them to deliver a higher resolution. The overall system also achieves a higher sound level. There is also an LFE input up to 120 Hz for surround sound.The patented LSE design (laminar spiral enclosure) ensures powerful low bass without flow noise. The Class D power amplifier guarantees high power reserves without distortion. The important adjustment to the room acoustics is made via dip switches. The phase position can also be adjusted in this way. The automatic switch-off function saves energy efficiently as soon as there is no signal for a longer period of time. The 7050C also impresses with its compact dimensions and universal switching power supply.

The Genelec GLM kit enables the calibration and control of studio monitors from the SAM series (Smart Active Monitor). The network interface is connected to a PC or Mac via USB. The speakers are connected via standard CAT cables (RJ45). The Genelec GLM software makes it easy to configure setups.Up to 80 speakers and subwoofers can be managed. Measurements are taken via the calibrated measuring microphone at the listening position. The AutoCal algorithm then automatically determines filter settings to compensate for room influences. Levels, delay times and the phase position to subwoofers are also adjusted. Each parameter can be edited manually. Finally, settings can be saved in the loudspeakers. If the network interface remains connected, there is access to monitor controller functions.Volume control, group switching or solo and mute functions are available directly via GLM. A wired volume control (Genelec 9310AM) or a remote control (Genelec 9101AM) are optionally available. No PC/Mac is required for use as a volume controller. A USB power supply for the network interface is sufficient.The full MIDI implementation allows the GLM software to be used as a convenient monitor controller. It offers fast and smooth control of monitors such as playback volume, activation of mutes, calling up volume presets, switching bass management on and off and switching monitor groups.
