Yamaha is a renowned manufacturer of musical instruments, known for its high quality and innovative technology. Founded in 1887, the company has made a name for itself by offering a wide range of instruments, including pianos, guitars, wind instruments and drums. Yamaha combines traditional craftsmanship with state-of-the-art technology to offer both beginners and professional musicians an unrivalled playing experience. With a strong focus on sound quality and ease of use, Yamaha is a trusted choice for musicians worldwide.
With over 1900 voices of the highest quality and 800 accompaniment styles including one-touch settings covering a wide range of musical styles, you'll be instantly inspired to play your favourite songs or even create new musical ideas and compositions. Over 200 accompaniment styles are brand new, and all existing styles have been completely reworked. These include new sounds and effects, including FM sound generation and the ability to use ambient drums and style dynamics. The result is a professional high-end production. One of the most important sounds for any keyboard player is the piano. For this reason, we have not only added new pianos, but we have also processed existing piano sounds to a much higher quality. The CFX, Yamaha's flagship piano, now has more dynamic layers, 88-key sampling and twice the sample length of its predecessor. A Character Grand is also available, a well-rehearsed German grand piano from the 1980s. This stands out with its edgier, yet round sound and is perfect for pop and jazz music, among other things. The U1 Upright, Yamaha's top-of-the-range piano, has been tuned to provide a contemporary sound for modern pop songs. If you're looking for a more cinematic piano sound, you can try the rich, melancholic tone of the new Felt Piano. The SA2 voices continue to lead the way in playability and authenticity, offering articulations and tone changes not found in any other hardware keyboard instrument. There are even more sounds to choose from in the Genos2, covering not only the full orchestral palette, but also ethnic sounds such as duduk, shakuhachi and a Celtic flute, perfect for film scoring.
Under the motto "The best student flute now even better", Yamaha presents the 200, 300 and 400 series. The flutes now come in a new design with a pointed lid mechanism, as used in the professional models. The optimised pads ensure better stability and thus contribute to the improved durability of the flutes. The elegant new shape of the key covers gives the flutes a pleasantly comfortable and natural playing feel. Like its predecessor model, the YFL-472 is equipped with an E-mechanism and an advanced G. The headjoint, footjoint and centre joint of the flute are made of sterling silver for a brilliant and radiant sound. In contrast to the YFL-412, the YFL-472 is equipped with ring keys, which provide a fuller sound and even allow quarter tones to be played. The E-mechanism:The E-mechanism is an additional lever. This makes the high E (e3) more precise and easier to play. It prevents the musician from slipping off the note and provides additional playing security. The E mechanism proved its worth and established itself many years ago, especially in the amateur and semi-professional field. The advanced G:The position of the key with which the G is played, known as the advanced G, is now standard on every good flute. This key position adapts the instrument to the ergonomics of the hand and not the other way round. So please make sure that your flute always has an advanced G - your fingers will thank you for it!
The MY16-AE Mini-YGDAI Digital I/O Interface card is used to expand Yamaha's PM5D, DM2000, DM1000, 02R96 and 01V96 digital consoles by 16 simultaneously usable inputs and outputs in digital AES/EBU format via a single expansion slot. All 16 channels can be used independently of each other up to a sample rate of 48 kHz. In "Doublechannel" mode, eight independent channels are available at 88.2 or 96 kHz."Doublechannel" connection with 24 bit/96 kHz recorders:Although DM2000 and 02R96 can process 24 bit/96 kHz as standard, most digital recorders require the so-called "doublechannel" mode for 24 bit/96 kHz, in which two channels are combined into one. In this configuration, the DM2000 and 02R96 use one channel per track, but twice as many I/O connections are required. This means that in "doublechannel" mode, a 16-channel MY16 AE card processes up to eight channels at 24 bit/96 kHz. With the latest generation of recorders, which also process 24/96 as standard (in "Doublespeed" mode like the 02R96), you can create standard connections using the MY-AE96 card.
With the DM3 series, sound engineers can capture the sound on stage precisely and without distortion and then add creative accents as required. "Less is more" - with the 9" touchscreen and a single touch & turn control, most of the console's functions can be controlled. The DM3 consoles offer more power and flexibility than you would ever expect from such a compact digital console.
