The two transmitter modules and the receiver module are each only 4x4 cm in size, the range of the wireless link is 100 metres and the built-in rechargeable batteries allow up to 7 hours of continuous operation. The highlight: a microphone is not only built into the transmitters, but also in the receiver. If required, the film maker can record his own interview questions, stage directions or comments from off-camera. The built-in miniature condenser microphones deliver a crystal-clear audio signal. If you prefer, you can also connect an external clip-on microphone such as the Lavalier GO or Lavalier II to the transmitter.The transmitter utilises RØDE's ingenious GainAssist technology, which automatically adjusts the internal pre-amplification to the sound source. All necessary cables are included: 3.5 mm TRS to TRS (for DSLR cameras), 3.5 mm TRS to TRSS cable (for smartphones, analogue), two USB-C to USB-C cables (for PC and smartphones, digital), as well as a USB-C to Lightning cable (for iPhone®, digital).Level and configuration settings can be made using the free "RØDE Central" software, which is available for download from RØDE for Mac and PC as well as in the Play Store or App Store as a free app. The Wireless ME is also compatible with the recording/streaming software "RØDE Connect" and the apps "RØDE Reporter" (Android and iOS) and "RØDE Capture" (iOS), which are also available for free download. In addition to the four connection cables, the Wireless ME Dual also comes with three fur windshields for outdoor recording and a high-quality neoprene carrying case. The modules are manufactured at RØDE's precision facility in Sydney, Australia.
