We have also developed a deluxe version of the "regular" Evo for the Precise line. The front panel is finished with hand-picked walnut, which not only provides a beautiful look, but also gives the overall sound more warmth and colour in the mid-range. As the walnut surface is already somewhat warmer in terms of sound, the bass tube distracts from the natural sound, which is why it is not supplied with this model.

The overall appearance is also emphasised acoustically. The Precise OS models in particular offer a wide dynamic range: from a quiet, very finely responsive snare sound, which offers a great, rounded character even when played harder, to a very balanced bass foundation. Precise OS Cajons are available with the two design veneer playing surfaces Dark Santos and Black Silver and the playing surface made of real wood peeled OAK Classic. The abbreviation OS of the Schlagwerk Cajon sister series Precise OS and Urban OS has it all: OS (=Open sound & fully Screwed playing surface) is a novelty in the Schlagwerk Cajon universe. The most striking visual feature of the OS models is the new, fully screwed playing surface. During development, vibration points were defined to help find the optimum screw positions and thus design the new screw pattern. The effect is, on the one hand, an extremely direct snare response. On the other hand, this special arrangement in combination with the minimisation of the contact surface produces a very open basic sound. Thanks to the advantageous design, the additional reinforcement bars attached to the sides of the interior reinforce the convincing bass foundation of the OS models without interfering with the sensitivity of the snare response.
