The MuffBites open up a wide range of possibilities for unique damping effects. The black felt rim, combined with the beautiful vintage cord fabric, covers about a third of the head and thus preserves the natural drum sound. The Magnetic RimMount system holds the MuffBites securely in position on the rim and also allows them to be used on the resonance side of the drum. They reduce overtones, minimise sustain and ensure a more precise and drier sound. Three metal clamps are supplied for use on die-cast tyres.
Drops™ are a new way to improve the sound of your drums without gel or glue. Use them for toms and snares. Combine different weights to customise your sound. Drops™ are attached to any standard tuning screw with a silicone tab and can be easily removed or replaced. Special emphasis was placed on sustainability during production. Developed by Tandem Drums in California.

The Genera damping system known from Evans has been transferred to a single-ply head. This means that drummers who prefer single-ply snare heads do not have to do without dampened sounds. In addition, small holes, so-called dry vents, have been worked into the edge of the head. As the name suggests, these make the snare sound drier.
The EMAD system (Externally Mounted Adjustable Damping) developed by Evans damps the bass drum head with an externally mounted ring. This type of damping, used exclusively by Evans, makes any additional damping of the bass drum unnecessary. Two damping rings of different strengths are supplied with the drumhead, allowing the sound to be changed in just a few simple steps.
The most popular snare drum resonance head is probably also the most versatile. With the Hazy 300, the drummer is equipped for both quiet and loud sounds from the pop to the metal genre.

The classic resonance head from Evans offers optimum air equalisation and a deep, powerful sound thanks to its 5" hole. This results, among other things, from the damping ring attached to the inside of the head. The decentralised position of the hole makes the EQ3 Resonant ideal for miking.

The Calftone heads embody the calfskin look and sound of the 1950s, but with the durability, perfect burr placement and tuning range of the Level 360 technology standard.
A special feature of the new EC2S heads is Evans' newly developed Sound Shaping Technology. This technology makes it possible to provide each head with customised damping depending on its size. The damping material is not glued on, but is attached directly to the underside of the skin and varies in thickness and width depending on the skin diameter. This customised damping gives the new EC2S heads more tone, sustain and a crisp attack. In addition, the new EC2S heads have a greater tuning range and dynamic range.
The versatile single-ply tom skin is ideal for open tunings thanks to its broad overtone spectrum. Due to its versatility, it can be used both as a percussion and resonance head. The coated version of the G1 is also very popular as a snare head, as it produces a very open snare sound without damping.
