EWI 5000 offers wind instrumentalists an extensive sound library and expressive performance control.EWI 5000 comes with 3GB of high-quality sounds. These include traditional horns, brass and woodwinds, string instruments plus synth leads and experimental sounds. EWI 5000 has twelve touch-sensitive metal keys in the upper section and eight octave rolls in the lower section. The EVI mode (Electronic Valve Instrument) was implemented especially for the simulation of brass instruments. Eight knobs control Filter, Reverb, Chorus, LFO, Breath Amount, Bite Amount, Semitone Tuning and Fine Tuning. USB MIDI and 5-pin MIDI ports are available for controlling software or MIDI sound generators. A 6.3 mm output is used to connect to an amplifier, while a further 3.5 mm stereo output enables quiet playing via headphones. EWI 5000 is charged via USB or mains adapter.
