Today and in the future:
"Inspiring instruments that make music fun."
Since its foundation in 1963, KORG's goal has been to create new musical experiences and playing adventures with its instruments. This ambition led early on to the invention of the first Japanese synthesiser and the world's first needle tuner. This was followed by countless unique instruments that gave people all over the world the joy of making music. KORG continues to stand for innovative and uncompromising instruments of the very best quality. They inspire professional artists and composers to top performances, while remaining easy to play for everyone thanks to well thought-out operating concepts. Because KORG instruments are always developed with the wishes and needs of all our many enthusiastic users around the world at the centre - today and in the future.
For a permanent and decorative installation of the B1 digital piano, we recommend the matching STB1 stand, which is included with the B1SP along with a 3-pedal unit. This stand positions the B1 at the optimum height for piano keyboards. If you want to use all three pedals of a grand piano, the 3-pedal unit is the ideal solution.
The multi/poly module from KORG draws inspiration from the legendary mono/poly analogue synthesizer from the 1980s, which was known for its big sound and experimental features thanks to its 4 oscillators, and transfers this concept into the modern age with the help of sophisticated modelling technology. It uses the latest generation of KORG analogue modelling, which, in addition to the detailed reproduction of classic oscillators and filters, for the first time also includes complete voice boards with the interaction of qualitatively different components, envelope generators and even portamento behaviour. In this way, the multi/poly module creates sounds that seem almost alive and have the typical "analogue" timbre. The available "Classic", "Digital" and "Waveshaper" oscillators, which can of course be freely combined with each other, offer a real playground for sound designers and synthesiser fans. Within a sound programme, 4 oscillators, a noise generator with its own filter and saturation as well as a ring modulator are available. In combination with the dual filter, the flexible cross-modulation known from the Mono/Poly, four loopable DAHDSR envelopes, five LFOs and six modulation processors, there are no limits to the imagination when creating sounds. Within a "Performance", up to four such sound programmes can be created as "Layer". "Split" or "Layer Rotate" sounds to create particularly complex timbres. ("Layer Rotate" is a function inspired by the classic mono/poly and switches between different sound programmes each time a button is pressed in "Round Robin" style) To animate these sounds, the "Motion Sequencing 2.0" function offers several independent sequencer tracks for timing, pitch, shape and four other parameters, each of which can be recorded as individual steps or in real time. As if that wasn't enough, the "Kaoss Physics" function provides additional, unique modulation options based on the physical model of a virtual ball that moves on a plane based on previously defined parameters and can be controlled or triggered using the integrated X/Y touchpad. This ball generates eight different modulation signals at any given time, which can affect almost any sound-shaping parameter. This creates complex modulations that are never exactly repeated and can be used particularly effectively in a live context. Three blocks with studio-quality effects as well as a master reverb and a master EQ round off the sounds accordingly. When switching between different sound programmes, the "Smooth Sound Transition" familiar from the KORG flagship workstations ensures natural-sounding transitions without tearing off the sounds or effects. An inspiring random function is available for creating new sounds, which randomises all or only certain sound-shaping parameters within a previously defined framework at the touch of a button, which can lead to completely new timbres or useful starting points for further sound experiments. With the exception of the pitch bend and modulation wheels, the multi/poly module offers the same controls as the keyboard version, allowing all parameters to be set directly on the device. The compact housing can be placed either in a 19" rack or on a desk, whereby two different installation angles can be selected for the latter variant. The connection sockets are positioned so that the cables are still accessible even if other devices are installed in the rack directly above the module. By supporting the MIDI 2.0 Property Exchange Standard, the multi/poly module also communicates independently with other MIDI 2.0-compatible devices such as the Keystage MIDI Controller, making time-consuming MIDI mappings a thing of the past. Free editor/librarian software for Mac and PC is also available for particularly convenient programming of the multi/poly module.
Hardly any other synthesiser enjoys such legendary status as the ARP 2600. Its unique sound, which has been immortalised in countless music productions, film scores and soundtracks for TV productions and video games since its introduction in the 1970s, is still an indispensable part of the music world today. Now this synthesiser legend is back - as a compact desktop module manufactured with the utmost care in Japan. Inside, the same analogue circuits and components are at work as in the new ARP 2600 FS edition, bringing the authentic ARP sound into the modern era. Even the analogue spring reverb and the internal monitor loudspeakers have not fallen victim to the reduction to approx. 60% of the original size and still do their job in the ARP 2600 M desktop module. The semi-modular analogue synth has also been equipped with some additional features that make it easier to integrate into modern recording and live setups. For example, the module has both filter types from the different versions of the original ARP 2600, USB-A and USB-B ports for direct connection of USB keyboards or USB-MIDI compatible devices, a DIN MIDI input, improved faders and balanced jack outputs (L/R). The control voltage for triggering the ADSR envelope has been adapted to modern standards so that the synth can be easily integrated into existing setups with devices from the volca series or Eurorack modules, for example. The case included in the scope of delivery ensures optimum protection and easy transport. To celebrate the rebirth of this legendary synthesiser, the first 1,000 units will be delivered with a transport case in a special colour and a KORG microKEY2-37 MIDI keyboard.
The KORG minilogue xd makes analogue synthesis instantly understandable and surprises with a wide range of spectacular, modern sounds. It combines the convenient format of the minilogue with the technical advantages of the prologue, such as the digital multi-engine, upgraded sequencer, effects and micro-tuning functionality.
The KORG nano2 series follows on directly from the immense success of the first generation with a new construction design, modified functionality and robust handling. The outstanding feature remains the extremely slim design in the colours white and black. Editor software will be available as a free download for all devices in the nano2 series. With eight faders, eight rotary knobs and three buttons for each fader, the nanoKONTROL2 is compatible with all common music software. A complete transport section including markers and song selection rounds off the functionality. As typical functions such as pan, volume, solo, mute and record are assigned to all controls and buttons from the factory, you can start working efficiently straight away. Of course, you can also define your own controller sets to control plug-ins and software synthesisers.
Description:Not only the sound but also the usability of a mixer is important, especially when things have to move quickly on stage. Korg has teamed up with two luminaries of mixer design - Greg Mackie and Peter Watts - to develop hybrid analogue/digital consoles. The result of this co-operation, announced a year ago, is a portable mixer with great features normally only found on large mixing consoles. Noble sound combined with high-end technology. Both the 24-channel and 16-channel versions offer straightforward, analogue ease of use and the additional functions are fully tailored to musicians. The HiVolt microphone preamps built into the mixing consoles show that a low noise level can go hand in hand with a high headroom. This is thanks to the internal 16.5V voltage (even with stereo channels). Furthermore, the special and unique "Musician's Phone" function allows you to mix the stereo sum signal to your own monitor to keep an eye on the entire musical event. In addition to a limiter, one-knob compressor for all microphone channels and a noise gate function, both mixer models offer 24 high-calibre digital effects in Bundesliga quality. These can even be conveniently and easily changed and saved according to your own preferences. A 24-band spectrum analyser for the integrated noise generators, multi-band sum EQs and freely programmable mute groups round off the overall package alongside free mastering software from iZotope.

With its unique Wave Sequencing 2.0 sound generation, the original wavestate, which saw the light of day at the 2020 NAMM Show, became a celebrated star on the synth Olympus virtually overnight. The wavestate SE is the top version of the digital synthesiser, featuring a larger keyboard with 61 keys and aftertouch as well as an elegant yet sturdy metal housing that not only gives the instrument a particularly high-quality look, but also easily withstands the rigours of everyday touring. In addition, the polyphony of the instrument has been extended to an incredible 120 stereo voices. The factory sounds of the original wavestate have been optimised for the new aftertouch function and expanded to include numerous additional sounds. The wavestate SE thus offers the ultimate wave sequencing 2.0 experience, in which samples are strung together in step sequences to create organic, constantly changing or even rhythmic sounds. With its sophisticated lane structure, performance layers consisting of up to four different sound programmes (including custom effects and arpeggiators), a huge selection of different filter types, high-quality effects, clever random functions and an almost limitless modulation matrix with over 1,000 modulation destinations, the wavestate SE is a true synthesis monster that can create incredibly complex, seemingly never-repeating soundscapes. The wavestate SE is already equipped with several gigabytes of samples ex works, which form the source material for its unique sounds. But that's not all, it also offers 4 GB of memory for your own user samples, which can be transferred to the instrument using the free wavestate sample builder software. And to ensure that the elegant synth is always well protected when travelling, it comes with a matching hard case.
The KORG NC-Q1 headphones are both hearing protection and a sound giant. Thanks to its intelligent noise-cancelling system, it automatically attenuates even extremely loud ambient noise. What remains is a filigree sound and a differentiated audio reproduction that enables perfect mixing and music listening. The noise-cancelling system is equipped with feed-forward and feedback processes to effectively prevent noise pollution. The two separate external and internal microphones suppress a wide frequency band and automatically adapt to the noise conditions. The adjustable pads ensure that the ear is effectively and comfortably enclosed. Thanks to them, noise is optimally shielded. Precise dosing of external audio signals is possible thanks to "Smart Monitoring" and "Sound Enhancing". Several EQ presets and a balance control are available for this purpose. The KORG NC-Q1 headphones get their differentiated audio reproduction from the enormous frequency response, the rich overtone structure and the rich dynamic range. This allows DJs, FOH mixers and drummers to monitor and mix the sound perfectly and in a way that is easy on the ears.
The KRONOS is the ideal stage and studio instrument for anyone who needs maximum flexibility without compromising on sound quality, reliability and features. With no less than nine different sound engines, the KRONOS delivers high-quality sounds from all musical genres - and thanks to the huge and constantly growing number of additional sound libraries, it can be expanded again and again and tailored to individual requirements. The SGX-2 engine specialises in authentic concert grand and upright piano sounds, including the typical mechanical noises and resonances that acoustic instruments inevitably produce. A total of four different high-resolution concert grand pianos of German, Japanese and Italian origin are available ex works, each with 12 dynamic levels and with unlooped samples per key for an outstanding sounding piano experience. The EP-1 Engine is dedicated to the distinctive sound of classic vintage electric pianos with electromechanical sound generators such as reed plates or reeds. In addition to the typical background noises, suitable effect and amplifier models are also included, allowing the most legendary electric piano sounds in music history to be recreated effortlessly. The CX-3 Engine provides the player with an impressive reproduction of the KORG CX-3 tonewheel organ, whose drawbars can be operated intuitively via the nine faders of the KRONOS. Of course, suitable chorus, vibrato, drive and rotary effects are also included to complete the authentic organ experience. The Polysix EX engine is a detailed reproduction of the KORG Polysix analogue synthesizer, whose warm, full sound is predestined for musical genres from the 1980s and early 1990s as well as for more modern synthwave productions. The same applies to the MS-20 EX engine, which is a faithful adaptation of the iconic MS-20 analogue synthesizer from the 1970s, whose unique and aggressive sound is still an integral part of countless legendary electronic music productions today. The KRONOS' large TouchView display can even be used to create virtual connections on the MS-20's patch panel, allowing you to customise the signal path according to your own ideas. The AL-1 Engine is also available for further virtual-analogue sounds, with its complex possibilities and authentic-sounding oscillators and filters for velvety-smooth pads, assertive leads and punchy basses. With the STR-1 engine, the KRONOS offers comprehensive physical modelling sound generation, in which the sounds are generated and modulated in real time using physical models. This type of synthesis is particularly suitable for creating plucked and stringed instruments, whose virtual strings can be plucked, struck or bowed. The MOD-7 engine, on the other hand, specialises entirely in VPM/FM synthesis, which was particularly dominant in the music world of the 1980s, but has also recently experienced a real renaissance in the EDM sector. In addition to brilliant bells and legendary electric piano sounds, it can also be used to generate dynamic pads and ultra-deep basses. In addition, the six operators of the engine can be equipped with waveshaping or ring modulation oscillators as well as PCM samples, which guarantees almost infinite freedom when designing new sounds. "Last but not least, the HD-1 engine is a powerful sampling sound generator that can be used to create complex multisamples and play them over different keyboard and velocity ranges. This engine contains all sample-based sounds such as natural instruments, drums, percussion, choirs etc. and can also be used to play your own samples. The latter can either be loaded into the instrument via USB stick or created using the comprehensive internal sampler function. Separate audio and microphone inputs as well as an integrated USB audio interface are available for this purpose. The HD-1 engine also offers the option of wave sequencing, which is familiar from the classic KORG WAVESTATION from the 1990s and can generate rhythmic phrases and constantly changing pad sounds. All sounds created with these nine engines can be combined with each other within the Combi mode, either as dynamically playable layer or split sounds with up to 16 individual instances. Such extensive combinations can then be organised just like individual sound programs in clearly arranged, colour-coded set lists and can even be called up using a footswitch if desired. Thanks to the practical "Smooth Sound Transition" function, played sounds are not interrupted when the sound programme is changed, but continue to sound natural, even if the new sound is already being played. The powerful on-board sequencer offers 16 MIDI and 16 audio tracks and is therefore also ideal as a practical playback device for click and backing tracks on stage. An extensive and flexibly customisable effects section with a total of 16 effect slots (12 insert, 2 master and 2 total effects + 3-band EQ) is available for all areas, which can be used from a pool of 197 different effect types. The inspiring KARMA function, which is also on board the KRONOS, generates complex musical accompaniment phrases in real time, which can be intuitively controlled and customised using the faders and buttons in the controller section. For particularly expressive playing, the KRONOS provides a variety of playing aids and real-time modulation sources, including a velocity-sensitive keyboard with aftertouch, freely programmable faders, knobs and buttons, an X/Y joystick, an additional vector joystick and an intuitive ribbon controller. Thanks to its optimised system architecture, it works faster than ever before in its third generation, which is noticeable, among other things, in a significant reduction in start-up time. The TouchView display also reacts even faster to inputs, making the entire workflow feel noticeably smoother and more natural.
The KR-11 from Korg is the ideal companion for practising, jamming and live performances. Its clearly laid out control panel allows you to select the right rhythms in just a few seconds, giving every performance the right groove. The prepared patterns are organised in corresponding style categories, which makes searching much easier. The rhythms can be played back either via the headphone/line output or the integrated loudspeaker. Thanks to Korg's own Acoustage Bass technology, even deep bass drums sound surprisingly authentic and powerful despite the compact size of the device. A tap tempo function is available for quick and easy tempo input, and the swing function can be used to further refine the feel of the grooves. To make live performances even more interesting, up to two optional footswitches can be connected to the KR-11 to create fill-ins and seamless pattern transitions or to start and stop the rhythm. 126 rhythm patterns from a wide variety of musical styles are already prepared ex works, with rhythms available not only in 4/4, but also in 3/4, 5/4 and 7/8. And if a desired rhythm is missing, you can easily play it in yourself using the 16 velocity-sensitive pads and save it in one of 14 user slots. Of course, these drum pads are also ideal for live finger drumming, whereby additional sounds such as bass drum and hi-hat can be played via the two optional footswitches. The compact KR-11 can be powered either by an optional mains adapter or 4 AA batteries (not included) and can therefore be used practically anywhere, even if there is no power socket nearby.
Suitable for the 73 and 88 key versions of the SV-1 & SV-2, the black stand from KORG has a retro look and can also be used for all models in the Pa3X and Pa4X series. It can be easily folded and stowed away for transport.
The wavestate module is the space-saving modular version of the wavestate mkII and has the same controls and features as KORG's unique Wave Sequencing 2.0 synthesiser, with the exception of the keyboard and pitch/modulation wheels. Wave Sequencing 2.0 sound generation allows you to create complex soundscapes that are constantly changing and seemingly never repeat. This is achieved by stringing together several samples in a fixed sequence, which can be subsequently changed in real time using a clever lane structure with several tracks. A sound programme can consist of a total of four such sequences, which can be faded into one another using the vector joystick. For further modulation, the wavestate module offers a versatile multimode filter and an extensive effects section. This allows you to create unique rhythmic patterns or wafting pad sounds that are unimaginable with any other synthesiser. In addition to the regular controls on the user interface, there are also eight programmable MOD controls for direct intervention in the sound, which can even influence several parameters simultaneously. Thanks to KORG's own Smooth Sound Transition function, sounds and effects sound natural even after switching to the next sound programme and are not suddenly cut off. A clever randomise function allows you to create new sounds at random. For individual expansion, a total of 4 GB of additional memory is available for your own samples, which can be transferred to the instrument using editor software. The wavestate module also supports the MIDI 2.0 Property Exchange Standard and polyphonic aftertouch, making it an ideal addition to the KORG Keystage MIDI 2.0 keyboard. For use as a desktop module, you can choose between two different installation angles. Alternatively, the wavestate module can also be installed on 4 height units in a conventional 19-rack to save space.
Following in the footsteps of the titans, the KORG NAUTILUS utilises the nine sound engines of the KORG Kronos and guarantees a completely new and very clear operating concept. The simple and elegant design of the new synthesiser guarantees an excellent overview of all areas, quick access to excellent sounds as well as flexible functions and offers maximum ease of use. The sounds of the synthesiser are divided into three important categories and give the instrument an unmistakable character with standard, current and unique sounds. The latest generation of processors gets far more out of the nine advanced sound engines than has ever been possible before. The SGX-2 piano sound engine familiar from the Kronos has been expanded in the NAUTILUS with additional grand piano sounds and, in addition to the customisable adjustment of string resonances and a gradation into 12 different velocity levels, also offers the option of changing the hall acoustics of the respective instrumentof the respective instrument. The SGX-2 and all other sound engines, such as the EP-1 electric piano engine, the CX-3 drawbar engine, the HD-1 PCM engine, the MS-20EX analogue modelling engine, the PolysixEX modelling engine, the AL-1 analogue modelling engine, the MOD-7 VPM/FM sound engine and the STR-1 physical modelling engine as well as all associated parameters can be configured via the 7 large TouchView display with 800 x 480 pixel resolution or via the retractable rotary controls in the control panel. If you ever need help locating the right sound in the instrument, the search and preview function makes it easy to browse through all the sounds, which are based on over 1,770 multisamples. Your own favourite sounds and combinations that you often need can be saved in a favourites list using asterisks. This means you have your favourite sounds to hand in a flash. The NAUTILUS also offers six freely programmable Quick Access buttons, which can take you directly to certain menus or functionsor functions. Four preset settings and four user assignments are available here. A polyphonic arpeggiator with over 1,500 presets, a drum track with over 1,200 patterns and a step sequencer are available in every mode and enhance music-making in combination with the new sounds in a contemporary way. All settings can be perfectly configured for live use, saved and recalled later in set list mode. An indispensable function in live operation. The 16 effect processors and the 3-band EQ for each individual track are also easy to access thanks to the new operating concept. The expressiveness of a sound can also be perfectly adapted to the respective requirements using the separate Dynamics control on the control panel. This allows sounds to be played either very dynamically and elegantly or punchily with less dynamic range in an instant, making them more assertive. The instrument also comes with a download code for an extensive range of free additional software. In addition to KORG software instruments, this package includes the Ozone Elements software from iZotope, Reason Lite DAW software and the Skoove learning software.
The modwave module is the space-saving rack version of the modwave mkII and has the same controls and features as the surprisingly versatile wavetable synthesiser from KORG, with the exception of the keyboard and the pitch/modulation wheels. The modwave sound generation is based on a combination of wavetables, PCM samples and various filter models which, in conjunction with extensive modulation possibilities and a high-calibre effects section, offers an almost infinite number of sound design options. The innovative KAOSS PHYSICS function enables unique modulations based on a physical model in which a virtual ball is thrown into a virtual space and continues to move there based on modifiable physical conditions (acceleration, deceleration, bouncing off walls, etc.), whereby this "ball" can be "guided" and "set in motion" using the integrated X/Y touchpad. Thanks to Motion Sequencing 2.0, the integrated step sequencer enables complex programmed sound changes with parameter changes on up to four different tracks. For individual expansion, a total of 4 GB of additional memory is available for your own samples, which can be transferred to the instrument using editor software. The modwave module also supports the MIDI 2.0 Property Exchange Standard and polyphonic aftertouch, making it an ideal complement to the KORG Keystage MIDI 2.0 keyboard. For use as a desktop module, you can choose between two different set-up angles. Alternatively, the modwave module can also be installed in a conventional 19" rack to save space in 4 height units.
The KORG SV-1 Stage Vintage Piano caused a sensation when it was launched over 10 years ago with its iconic design and simple operating concept and has been used by countless renowned musicians in studios and on stages around the world ever since. The SV-2 follows the same philosophy as its legendary predecessor, but expands the range of functions and sound quality many times over. The iconic design and the still intuitive user interface have remained the same. But under the bonnet, a few things have changed significantly. The SV-2 has a huge sample memory of several gigabytes, which of course benefits the acoustic piano sounds in particular. The SV-2 has room for no less than four high-calibre concert grand pianos (German Grand, Austrian Grand, Italian Grand and Japanese Grand) and two upright pianos (Japanese Upright and German Upright). Thanks to the use of the latest sample technologies and the SV-2's large internal memory, the sounds are in no way inferior to their acoustic counterparts.Of course, the same applies to all the other sound colours of the SV-2, including numerous legendary electric piano models (reed, tine, FM, electromechanical etc.) including authentic reproductions of the typical background noises as well as the matching vintage effects and speaker simulations. The organ sounds also honour their role models in terms of sound and are represented by a large selection of tonewheel, tube, transistor and pipe organs. The SV-2 also offers funky clav sounds, numerous string and ensemble sounds, choirs, wind instruments and classic synthesiser pads, leads and bass sounds.Using the free editor software for Mac and PC, layer and split sounds with up to three different timbres can be created (for example a piano/bass split with an additional string layer) and saved as one of the now 64 favourite sounds. Thanks to the extended polyphony of 128 voices, even long sustained chords are no problem when using multiple layers. All SV-2 models are equipped with KORG's tried-and-tested RH3 keyboard, which with its hammer action and graduated weighting over four zones conveys the authentic feel of a concert grand piano. Both the SV-2 and the SV-2 S are available with either 73 or 88 keys.
Not only the sound but also the usability of a mixer is important, especially when things need to move quickly on stage. Furthermore, the special and unique Musician's Phone function allows you to mix the stereo sum signal to your own monitor in order to keep an eye on the entire musical event.

The four-voice analogue synthesizer minilogue xd, which has set new standards with its expandable, digital MULTI ENGINE and integrated, digital stereo effects, is also available as a desktop version: the minilogue xd module. It is equipped with the same controls as the keyboard version. This makes it suitable both as an additional sound module for an existing keyboard or DAW and for performing and spontaneous tweaking of sounds. The poly-chain function allows two devices from the minilogue xd series to be used together to achieve 8-fold polyphony. This makes the minilogue xd module a particularly simple and space-saving way of integrating a polyphonic analogue synthesizer into your own setup.
The multi/poly from KORG draws inspiration from the legendary Mono/Poly analogue synthesizer from the 1980s, which was known for its big sound and experimental features thanks to its 4 oscillators, and transfers this concept into the modern age with the help of sophisticated modelling technology. It is the first instrument ever to make use of the latest generation of KORG analogue modelling, which, in addition to the detailed reproduction of classic oscillators and filters, also includes complete voice boards with the interaction of qualitatively different components, envelope generators and even portamento behaviour for the first time. In this way, the multi/poly creates sounds that seem almost alive and have the typical analogue timbre. The available classic, digital and waveshaper oscillators, which can of course be freely combined with each other, offer a true playground for sound designers and synthesiser fans. Up to four such sound programmes can be created within a Performance as Layer. Split or Layer Rotate sounds to create particularly complex timbres. (Layer Rotate is a function inspired by the classic mono/poly that switches between different sound programmes each time a button is pressed in round robin style) To animate these sounds, the Motion Sequencing 2.0 function offers several independent sequencer tracks for timing, pitch, shape and four other parameters, each of which can be recorded as individual steps or in real time. As if that wasn't enough, the Kaoss Physics function provides additional, unique modulation options based on the physical model of a virtual ball that moves on a plane based on previously defined parameters and can be controlled or triggered using the integrated X/Y touchpad. When switching between different sound programmes, the Smooth Sound Transition familiar from the KORG flagship workstations ensures natural-sounding transitions without tearing off the sounds or effects. For the creation of new sounds, an inspiring random function is available, which randomises all or only certain sound-shaping parameters within a previously defined framework at the touch of a button, which can lead to completely new timbres or useful starting points for further sound experiments. The new, semi-weighted keyboard with 37 velocity-sensitive keys provides a pleasant playing feel, while the elegant look with wooden elements on the sides and a blue and black control panel is a lovingly realised reminiscence of the classic mono/poly. For particularly convenient programming of the multi/poly, free editor/librarian software is also available for Mac and PC. And so that the instrument can also be transported in style, it is supplied with a matching blue soft case with the multi/poly logo.
