The Benny Greb Signature 18" Quick Sand Ride is inspired by the iconic jazz and funk sound of the 70s and 80s. It is a small but heavy ride modelled on the symphonic cymbals used as rides in the past, which have developed their popular characteristic sound through "misuse" (frequent repairs). The "sound notch" in combination with the sandblasted surface give the Quick Sand Ride its modified, pre-aged character with remarkable clarity, control and a complex sound image. Hand-hammered in Turkey from B20 bronze. The unusual sandblasted surface gives a soft feel and a distinctive matt finish. Its deep, dark and somewhat dry washy sound is neither too soft nor too loud. With its excellent stick response and short sustain, the Byzance Vintage series allows you to play powerfully and always remain in full control. The sound is suitable for all styles of music that are not in the upper decibel range.

The new K Paper Thin Crashes are a classic example of Zildjian's greatest strengths - recalling the most significant moments in the company's 400-year history, leading the way in cymbal innovation and rewarding the confidence of drummers around the world with cymbals that meet and exceed the demands of players in the modern era.Zildjian began offering Paper Thin cymbals back in the 1950s. After a thorough review of more than 70 years of cymbal trends for musical needs that still exist today, the result is a resounding response to years of customer demand for the return of this weight class. Thanks to new developments from Zildjian's research and development team, this new range complements the iconic K family with 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22 crashes that combine the popular Paper Thin qualities with the unique characteristics of larger cymbal sizes. As strong as they are light, the K Paper Thin cymbals offer an explosive, dark crash with fast decay and a buttery smooth under-stick feel. A key feature is a novel three-stage hammering process that allows for flexibility and tonal nuances that contribute to the unique signature of these crashes. The very thin profiles allow for additional shimmer when crashing and provide a low-end resonance not found anywhere else in the K family.
The Trash Crashes of the Traditional series are based on thin cymbals that are completely turned on both sides. They produce a full spectrum of trashy sounds with short sustain. The hand hammering in combination with the different sized holes creates a soft, "buttery" feel, but with enough volume and aggressiveness when necessary.

They are particularly suitableforjazz, funk, RnB, soul and pop and are excellent both onstageand in the studio. They get their "dirty", earthy appearance from a special manufacturing process that makes each one truly unique in terms of sound and appearance.
