If you connect a laptop to a sound system, the sound often leaves a lot to be desired. There is humming and rumbling, and sometimes there is also a loss of sound in the bass and treble. The Palmer naab, a two-channel media DI box, provides a reliable remedy.Using switches for ground lift and soft lift as well as the internal isolating transformers, hum loops can be prevented. The transformers also ensure optimum level and impedance matching. The result is clean, brilliant sound without noise. The Palmer naab is two-channel, but can be switched to mono if required, which is often very useful in practice so that a signal is not only heard on one side of the sound system. The mono sum signal is then available at both XLR outputs simultaneously; the naab can therefore also be used as a split box. There is a wide range of connections on the input side: 2 x 6.3 mm jack sockets, which can be balanced or unbalanced, as well as 2x RCA and 1x mini jack (stereo). This eliminates the need for error-prone adapter cables - which you always forget to take with you anyway! The outputs are designed as professional XLR sockets; their balanced wiring also allows longer cable runs without interference.Due to its passive operation, the Palmer naab does not require a power supply; this makes it extremely fail-safe, especially as the robust metal housing can take a beating. The Palmer naab is the ace up the sleeve for every lecture traveller, sound engineer and sound reinforcement specialist.
Re-amping made easy:ToneX CAPTURE was specially developed for use between a guitar amplifier and an audio interface for re-amping and tone sampling (via IK Multimedia's brand new AI Machine Modelling). Thanks to the galvanic isolation between the inputs and outputs, ToneX CAPTURE is a very convenient and practical solution for connecting guitar amplifiers or stompboxes directly to the interface. The usual background noise caused by ground loops is effectively suppressed. The input levels of the line and amp input can be regulated. This means that analogue guitar setups can always be operated at the ideal operating point. As a special feature, the speaker signal from the guitar amp can be looped in and recorded in parallel with the mic signal.
The PAN08 from Palmer has 4 channels, each of which can be used as an active DI box, line isolation box or catch-up amplifier. The input combo socket (jack / XLR) accepts both balanced and unbalanced input signals. The output is transformer-balanced with a double XLR socket (front and rear). The signal level can be reduced by 20 dB for microphone inputs and, if necessary, increased by 18 dB in 3 switchable stages for LINE inputs. With an output level of +12 dBu at 600 O load at 0.05 % THD/40 Hz and an output noise of less than -110 dBu, the device also fulfils high professional demands. A special feature is the rechargeable battery power supply. The supply voltage can be 9-18 V. This means that the PAN08 can also be used independently of the mains in outdoor operation.

This active stereo hybrid DI box was developed to connect computer sound cards, playback devices and other consumer hardware to professional, balanced audio systems. It is characterised by decoupled input transformers, which prevent hum problems caused by ground loops, and enables the use of long cable runs thanks to a 48V phantom-powered active circuit design with balanced XLR outputs.Stereo inputs and loop-through connections in RCA, 3.5mm and 6.3mm jack versions make the JPC even more versatile.
Whether guitar, bass, keyboards or any other stringed instrument: the conversion of instrument signals into microphone signals should not affect the sound. This is where WarmAudio comes in and presents DI boxes that are designed for maximum sound integrity. From the individually wound CineMag USA transformer to the robust metal knob and switches. Even after long cable runs, the sound is warm and rich. This is made possible by the use of high-quality, discrete components. The robust aluminium housing and all switches, knobs and connectors used are designed for daily use in the studio or on stage and can withstand even the heaviest loads. The WarmAudio DI is available in passive and active versions. The active version is ideal for all low-level instruments with passive pickups. Clever detail: if there is no supply voltage (48v phantom power, 2*9V block), it can also be operated passively. The passive version, on the other hand, is ideal for keyboards and other high-level sources, but also harmonises very well with passive pickups thanks to its extremely wide transmission range. As a practical novelty, both devices have an adjustable pad. In the range from -3dB to -30dB, the level can be optimally adjusted to the instrument used and annoying distortions are avoided. No loadbox function, speaker/loadbox must be connected to the "Thru" socket for use on the speaker out of an amp.

With the LD Systems X223, you have a crossover that fulfils all professional requirements and is characterised by high quality and excellent sound.
"When I connect the inputs of my two amplifiers together, there is a lot of humming." This or similar questions are often asked in the technology section of specialist magazines. The Palmer Y-Box offers the solution to this problem. An FET input circuit converts the high-impedance guitar signal and simultaneously forms the driver circuit for a transformer, which routes the signal to the output without grounding - thus eliminating a hum loop. Operation with a 9V battery is recommended. The PGA03 Y-Box can also be used as a cable driver for long cable lengths. In addition, the signal from output AMP2 can be switched out of phase, which is usually necessary when connecting two preamps or integrated amplifiers in parallel.
The TDP-2 (dual) is a new passive DI box that combines first-class components with a stable construction. This results in a reliable DI box with a rich, warm tone. By utilising an OEP/Carnhill (Made in UK) transformer, together with a 'less is more' design approach, this Telefunken passive DI box offers ambience and character to match the sound of your instruments. The high quality transformer is just one of the important design elements of the TDP series DI boxes. The circuit boards are 100% hand-assembled using only through-hole components (THT), which provide a more secure and reliable connection than surface-mounted components. All tracks are gold-plated to ensure maximum conductivity over the entire service life. The high input impedance does not stress passive pickups. The frequency response of the circuit is ± 2dB from 10 Hz to 40 kHz with extremely low distortion and inherent noise. The circuit is housed in an extremely robust pressed aluminium housing with recessed switches and connections. This construction is practically indestructible and can easily cope with the daily demands of concert use. Each channel has two robust switches for activating 15 dB attenuation and ground lift.
