The E series therefore utilises a unique method of generating the required low-interference power supply, while at the same time offering high tolerance to poorly designed computer power supplies. The use of Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) is another core technology of Lynx audio devices. The E Series utilises the latest and most powerful components currently available. These ensure more than sufficient resources for the parallel processing of our 16 x 8 mixer and the V2 DMA engine for maximum throughput on the PCI Express bus, while minimising the load on the CPU. HDSPe RayDAT is a multi-channel, multi-format and multi-task tool in outstanding professional quality, the ideal solution from recording to final mastering. Thanks to separate hardware and additional record/playback channels, SPDIF (RCA) and AES/EBU (XLR) can be used simultaneously for the first time. RayDAT offers no less than 4 x ADAT I/O (optical), SPDIF I/O and AES/EBU I/O. In total, no less than 36 input and output channels each.Two MIDI I/Os and TotalMix, RME's unrivalled DSP-based real-time mixer with hardware-calculated level meters and complete MIDI remote controllability complete the features. RedNet X2P is a compact, robust 2x2 Dante™ audio interface with two Red Evolution mic preamps, a stereo line out and a stereo headphone amplifier. RedNet X2P instantly adds inputs and outputs to your Focusrite Red or any Dante™ audio-over-IP system and is powered, audio and remotely controlled via a single Ethernet cable - simply use a Power-over-Ethernet switch or PoE injector. The MLA-XLR from JL Cooper acts as a bi-directional single channel remote amplifier or driver for MIDI signals. While the normal MIDI protocol specifies a maximum cable distance of about 50 feet, this is sometimes not enough for some installations.The MLA-XLR takes a MIDI input and converts it to a balanced differential signal using the RS-422 specification. At the other end, another MLA-XLR recognises the signal using a sensitive receiver with a high degree of noise immunity. Connecting the two MLA-XLRs are two standard shielded twisted pair microphone cables.The combination of a low impedance differential driver with a sensitive differential receiver signal is suitable for error-free installations over long distances and allows a MIDI signal to be sent over 1000 feet of cable or more. The MLA-XLR is compatible with the JLCooper MLA-1 and MLA10.

The best thing about it is that the whole thing happens completely automatically by recognising the signals, i.e. "incorrect" cabling is not even possible with the M4U eX.M4U eX is not only one of the first MIDI interfaces with a USB 3.0 interface, it even offers a USB 3.0 hub with 3 connections for other USB devices such as software dongles, USB keyboards and others. You can therefore use the device as a central interface for all MIDI and USB instruments.
