Austrian Audio's OC18 is the stripped down version of the innovative OC818 large diaphragm microphone, focussing on its most essential feature, the CRK12 capsule:Based on the legendary CK12 microphone capsule, the Viennese audio engineers designed their own advanced CKR12 capsule by tracking down various originals of the famous vintage capsule worldwide and meticulously testing, measuring and evaluating them for their best characteristics in order to develop much more than just a copy from the data and experience gained. The lovingly handcrafted OC18 shines with its unmistakable, transparent Made in Vienna sound, which cuts an outstanding figure both in the studio as an instrumental and vocal microphone and as a microphone in loud live environments.
The TLM 170 R was the first microphone with the now so successful fet-100 technology. It offers balanced transformerless signal decoupling and maximum dynamic range with extremely low self-noise. Five directional characteristics can be selected with a rotary switch. In the sixth switch position, "R", the directional characteristics can be switched remotely using the N 248 power supply unit without the need for a special cable. The microphone also has a switchable 10 dB pre-attenuation for very high sound levels and a low-cut filter with an operating frequency of 100 Hz. In addition to the omnidirectional, cardioid and figure-of-eight polar patterns, hypercardioid and wide cardioid polar patterns are also available. The hypercardioid pattern is better than the cardioid pattern at suppressing sound sources positioned to the right and left of the object to be recorded, while the wide cardioid pattern is advantageous for transmitting extended sound sources.
Scope of delivery:X1 S microphoneReflexion Filter RF-XIsolation Pack (elasticated holder including pop protection)3m XLR microphone cablesE X1 S - reissued and greatly improved:The X1 S is the new version of the sE classic X1, retuned and improved in every respect. With the handmade and individually tuned 1-capsule as well as the highest dynamic range and highest maximum sound pressure level in its class, the X1 S offers the sound and features you would expect from a high-end studio mic, but at a fraction of the price.Handmade 1" condenser capsule:Just like its predecessor X1, the X1 S is equipped with a handmade condenser capsule that is manufactured and tuned with extreme precision by technicians in sE's capsule room. The technicians are carefully trained over a period of 18 months by sE's master capsule maker - who has around 30 years of experience in capsule construction - and are only allowed to actively participate in capsule production after this training phase. In addition, the technicians are only allowed to build capsules for sE. This results in capsules that are manufactured in the same way as the finest musical instruments in the world, and that can also master the challenge of recording these instruments as realistically as possible.Ultra-quiet electronics:The sE X1 already boasted very low self-noise. The newly developed electronics take the performance of the X1 S to a new level and make the microphone one of the quietest in its class with 9dB(A) self-noise. In addition, the new electronics also improve the sensitivity and the maximum sound pressure level that the microphone can handle. Two switchable attenuation levels:The two -10dB and -20dB switches extend the dynamic range of the microphone and open up a wide range of possibilities, especially for close mic miking - even for the loudest instruments such as super-heavy guitars, loud brass instruments or hard kick drums. Two switchable LoCut filters:The two selectable LoCut filters (80Hz and 160Hz) help to limit low-frequency rumble, impact sound or heavy bass.Metal housing and premium paint finish:In contrast to the cheaply constructed housings of other microphones, the solid metal housing of the X1 S prevents electrical influences and noise. The high-quality paint finish also ensures that the X1 S will look great for many years to come.Gold-plated XLR contacts:The gold-plated XLR contacts provide the X1 S with a loss-free and reliable signal connection for years and years and years
Neumann engineering:The newly developed transducer, which has been specially tuned for this microphone, impresses with its fantastic impulse fidelity. Unusual for a large diaphragm capsule is also the high consistency of the five patterns, omnidirectional, cardioid, figure of eight, with the intermediate stages wide cardioid and hypercardioid. The TLM 107 not only delivers optimum sound results in the cardioid position, but also maximum precision across the entire frequency range for all other polar patterns. The sound image always remains balanced with an almost linear reproduction up to 8 kHz and a soft boost of the highest frequencies, which gives voices presence and freshness. Particular emphasis was placed on the natural reproduction of speech sounds, especially the critical S-sounds. The speaker basket has been acoustically optimised to reduce susceptibility to pops. In addition, the transducer is edge-contacted, with both diaphragms at ground level. In concrete terms, this means significantly less susceptibility to dust and moisture.Uncompromising sound design:The transformerless circuit offers high linearity and great dynamics. The self-noise of just 10 dB-A is practically inaudible, while the TLM 107 is also very level-resistant. The maximum sound pressure level is 141 dB SPL and can be increased up to 153 dB SPL by means of pre-attenuation (pad). This means that the TLM 107 transmits even the loudest instruments without distortion. The bass roll-off with linear, 40 Hz and 100 Hz settings is precisely tuned to recording practice. The 40 Hz setting cuts the noise below the fundamental range (the open E string of the double bass is at 41 Hz) without any side effects, while the 100 Hz setting has been optimised for speech/vocals (100 Hz corresponds to the lowest notes of a baritone).Innovative operating concept:For the first time in a microphone, all switching functions are intuitively controlled by a navigation switch. The illuminated pattern display in the chrome ring is a visual highlight, while the switching states of the pad and low cut are indicated by LEDs to the left and right of the switch. The switch and display have been positioned at the rear so as not to irritate singers. The displays switch off automatically after 15 seconds.

Capture the true sound with a microphone and produce an unforgettable show. Effortlessly. The 2028 was created to meet all the unique challenges of the live stage. It's a flexible handheld microphone for transparent, fantastic vocals that is suitable for a variety of uses, such as live, church congregations, broadcast, etc. It can be used wired or with your favourite wireless system. Whichever you choose, just plug it in and experience the voice like never before. The 2028 features a supercardioid capsule with DPA's famous linear off-axis behaviour. This allows the microphone to achieve very high gain before the onset of feedback, while making it easier for engineers to handle crosstalk from nearby instruments. The 2028 captures these off-axis sounds in the most natural way.We have developed a brand new capsule for the 2028, which is an integral part of the microphone. It is permanently attached to the shockmount and cannot be removed. The newly designed shockmount and pop filter were developed especially for the 2028.On the live stage, the 2028 delivers the same open and transparent sound as other DPA microphones. In fact, it needs no (or very little) EQ to sound like you're standing right next to the singer listening to their performance. This allows the singer to use their voice as if they were not using a microphone at all, which puts less strain on them. In addition, sound engineers can spend their time shaping the sound experience instead of having to deal with artefacts. This amazing transparency is unique to DPA microphones.
Awarded for its excellent direct microphone pickup and high SPL handling. It has been optimised for use on stage and has already been used on many stages and for recording sessions. They offer an unprecedented blend of clarity, fullness and dynamic range. The off-axis frequency response is linear, but in a narrower frequency bandwidth. This provides a higher isolation level and a better gain-to-feedback ratio. The microphone level is easier to control. The foam design inside the heavy-duty transport box enables quick and easy replacement of the microphone/accessory inlays.
Professional 2.54 cm (1") large-diaphragm studio microphone with switchable characteristics (omnidirectional, figure-of-eight, cardioid), 3-stage tritone filter (flat, 40 Hz, 80 Hz) and 3-stage pad switch (flat, -5 dB, -10 dB). At the heart of the system is a gold-plated 2.54 cm (1") double-diaphragm capsule. The transistor preamplifier has been developed according to the latest technical standards, enabling these excellent signal-to-noise ratio values to be achieved despite this sensitivity.
The KMS 104/104 plus and KMS 105 microphones were developed to optimise the transmission of the human voice under the special conditions on the live stage. In the meantime, the KMS series has become the internationally recognised reference for high-quality stage microphones. Thanks to the balanced frequency response and high acoustic resolution, the microphones offer musicians optimum control over their stage performance at all times. The KMS microphones are particularly suitable for use with in-ear monitoring systems thanks to their colouration-free crosstalk behaviour and low self-noise.The KMS 104 and the KMS 104 plus have a cardioid condenser microphone capsule, which offers the best possible suppression of rear sound. The KMS 105 with its supercardioid characteristic, on the other hand, suppresses sound from the entire rear half-space particularly well. Compared to the KMS 104, the KMS 104 plus is characterised by a more pronounced bass frequency response. In close cooperation and long practical tests with professional female musicians, these have been specially optimised to meet the requirements of female voices in the rock and pop genres. The user therefore has the option of choosing the optimum version for their particular application.
New boundary microphone designed primarily for miking bass drums, but also performs excellently with other instruments such as cajon, piano or grand piano. The feed transducer is already integrated in the microphone, so there is no need for an annoying external preamp. The half-cardioid polar pattern ensures outstanding feedback reliability on stage. The non-slip rubber underside ensures a secure stand; alternatively, the microphone can be permanently mounted using the 2 mounting holes on the underside.

A huge amount of research and development has resulted in this second generation of robust, great sounding MONDO kick drum microphones from Avantone. In our opinion, these are the best kick mics currently available, both for live clubs and concerts and for serious studio recording. The Avantone MONDO has a very aggressive frequency contour that sounds huge straight out of the box, so there is little need for EQ. Each Avantone MONDO kick drum microphone is made from die-cast zinc and features a brass and steel grille. As with all our microphones, there is NO PLASTIC to break! The MONDO comes in an elegant Cabernet Wine-Red finish, accentuated by a polished nickel trim and black grille. All components are designed and manufactured using the finest materials. A unique feature of all our drum microphones are two machined inserts on the microphone body. These inserts allow the O-rings of the SSM shock mount to "lock" the microphone in place, preventing the microphone from shifting and slipping. The supplied SSM mount is extremely robust and provides excellent decoupling of the microphones from unwanted low frequency transmission and rumble.
