The D3V is a fully active desktop monitor system designed for composers, producers and music lovers who want to enjoy ADAM Audio's sound quality as comfortably as possible. Available in white or black, the active monitors feature the legendary gold-coloured ribbon tweeter and remain true to ADAM Audio's established German industrial design.Each pair of active speakers features 3.5-inch aluminium bass-midrange drivers and a ferrite magnet system powered by 80-watt amplifiers. The bass-midrange drivers are complemented by double-sided 3.5-inch passive radiators, giving the D3V an extended frequency response down to 45 Hz.With 25 years of experience in the design and manufacture of ribbon tweeters, ADAM Audio has designed the compact 1.5-inch D-ART (Desktop Accelerated Ribbon Tweeter). It enables the precise, unagitated high-frequency reproduction for which the manufacturer's established monitors are known.The D3V has a USB-C input. Accordingly, the monitor system behaves like a digital output device when connected to a computer and does not require an additional audio interface for playback. This plug-and-play functionality also extends to mobile devices, so that high-quality sound reproduction can be enjoyed without the data compression or conversion typically associated with such connections. The D3V also features balanced 6.35 mm TRS inputs for conventional analogue audio applications.The rear of the left speaker has a series of user-friendly switches to solve the typical acoustic problems associated with speaker placement. The front panel also features a headphone jack and a volume control that simultaneously controls audio input selection, muting and other functions.The D3V comes complete with detachable monitor stands, which are inclined at an angle of 15° towards the user's ears. In addition, there is a standardised 3/8" thread on the underside of both monitors for mounting on microphone stands.Fully active 3.5-inch aluminium bass/midrange driver with ferrite magnet systemOptimised via ADAM Audio's state-of-the-art Klippel measurement system, the extremely symmetrical voice coils and ferrite magnets help to minimise unwanted distortion and provide a linear drive to the bass-midrange drivers. Each one-piece concave cone is made of ribbed, thick aluminium with a long linear excursion that delivers uncoloured sound even at surprisingly high output levels.The D3V is a fully active design with four amplifier channels and DSP-controlled crossover. The bass-midrange drivers are powered by 80-watt amplifiers, with the link connection cable transmitting an amplified signal to the right speaker.D-ART tweeterA quarter of a century of research and development into ribbon tweeters has led to the development of ADAM Audio's powerful 1.5" Desktop Accelerated Ribbon Tweeter. Each diaphragm is hand-folded and bonded to 40W amplifiers that drive each unit. Like all other ADAM Audio tweeters, the D-ART features a fine-tuned crossover managed by a high-precision signal processor.Passive radiatorThe D3V utilises double-sided passive radiators in each speaker, a total of four per system. Each passive radiator consists of a stainless steel plate as the moving mass and a specially stabilised long excursion rubber surround as the suspension. Together they amplify the lowest frequencies of the loudspeaker through their interaction with the main bass-midrange drivers and thus contribute to an increase in the sound pressure level of the overall system.USB-C direct inputThe D3V is ADAM Audio's most convenient monitor system to date, as it features a plug-and-play USB-C input. The speakers behave like a digital output device when connected to a computer, mobile phone or tablet, eliminating the need for an additional audio interface. This direct digital connection enables high-quality audio playback without the data compression or additional conversion typically associated with desktop monitors.DSP room acousticsThere are three switches on the rear panel of the left speaker to counteract the typical acoustic problems resulting from speaker placement. "POSITION" refers to the fixed position of the speaker in the room. "DESK" refers to the size of the desk in front of the speaker, while "ROOM" refers to the degree of acoustic damping in the room in which the system is used.Balanced analogue inputsIn addition to the USB-C input, the D3V has analogue inputs for conventional audio applications. It enables balanced connections to audio interfaces as well as direct connections to a wide range of hardware, including synthesisers, drum machines, samplers and DJ mixing consoles. The USB-C connection or the balanced analogue inputs can be selected by pressing the volume control on the left speaker.Headphone output, monitor stand and mounting optionsFunctionality and convenience played a major role in the design of the D3V. The headphone output on the front automatically takes over audio playback when connected. Monitor stands angled at 15° are also included. In addition, there is a standardised 3/8" thread on the underside of both monitors for mounting on microphone stands.Injection moulded housingThe housing of the D3V is made of high-quality ABS injection-moulded polycarbonate with thick walls and ample bracing to prevent vibrations and unwanted resonances. The rounded shape reduces unwanted sound diffraction at high frequencies while honouring ADAM Audio's long-established industrial design.

The Genelec 8020D is a professional compact nearfield monitor. It delivers an analytical sound image without colouration for fatigue-free monitoring and objective mixing. With its small dimensions, it is suitable for small studios, post-production, broadcast and mobile applications. Protective grilles in front of the drivers simplify transport.The stable and low-resonance housing of this RAW version is made of untreated aluminium and is particularly environmentally friendly to manufacture as it is not painted. Rounded cabinet edges and the optimised sound guide ensure balanced dispersion, very good spatial imaging and a wide listening zone. The stereo image is precise and stable. Despite the small size, there is a long bass reflex channel. It enables precise and deep bass reproduction. The frequency range can be extended down to 30 Hz with the matching 7040 subwoofer.Switchable filters allow the speaker to be customised to the installation location and room acoustics. The IsoPod stand decouples the monitor from the floor and allows it to be aligned to the listening position. Threaded holes and suitable accessories facilitate wall or ceiling mounting.

The A-Series Monitor A7V is the successor to ADAM Audio's award-winning bestseller A7X. The A7V 2-way speaker is equipped with a newly developed 7-inch woofer - made from a multi-layer mineral fibre material (MLM) - and ADAM Audio's handcrafted X-ART tweeter. The A7V achieves a frequency range of 41 Hz to 42 kHz, a rotatable HPS waveguide and the integrated DSP technology allow optimal customisation to individual room conditions and personal sound preferences. For many artists, mixers and producers, the A7V will be the preferred speaker within the new A-Series.

The T7V is a nearfield studio monitor and is designed as a vertically orientated 2-way system. The T7V has a 7" woofer that enables bass reproduction down to 39 Hz, while the cone of the U-ART tweeter offers an unadulterated and extended high frequency range of up to 25 kHz. The U-ART tweeter is fitted with a precision waveguide that has the same excellent dispersion characteristics as the High Frequency Propagation (HPS) waveguide used in the S-Series studio monitors. The very even reproduction of the high frequencies by the waveguide ensures an incredibly wide sweet spot, which saves you from having to remain in a fixed position while working.The metal rear panel of the T7V houses the bass reflex port as well as numerous controls and analogue connections. The U-ART tweeter is powered by a 20 W amplifier, while a 50 W amplifier drives the woofer. This powerhouse in a slim cabinet delivers an impressive maximum sound pressure level of 110 dB SPL per pair.The T7V's wide frequency response, wide dynamic range, excellent transient response, wide sweet spot and small footprint make it ideal for use in small control rooms for music production, video post-production and broadcast - an interesting option for the limited budgets that many facilities have to work with.The ADAM Sub8 subwoofer is the perfect complement to the T7V to extend the possibilities of low frequency monitoring.

The most striking feature of the FX series is the coaxially integrated tweeter, which is not - as is often the case - a horn, but a dome tweeter. And the computer-calculated housing shape not only looks extremely cool, but also significantly optimises the dispersion characteristics of the FX80.Coaxial driverIn the centre of the 8" woofer is a 1.2" silk dome tweeter. The unique design in this price segment creates a point sound source - in principle without disturbing phase deviations or overlapping of the individual drivers. The frequency response of the FX80 ranges from 35 Hz to 22 kHzDIP switch for boundary compensationIn many (home) studios, space is at a premium, which can have an unfavourable effect on the acoustics. The integrated high-performance DSP takes care of the digitally controlled crossover, resulting in extremely consistent sound reproduction. This makes the FX series reference monitors the perfect solution for demanding home and professional recording studios.LED display on the front baffleThe LED on the front panel not only provides information about the on/off/bypass status of the FX monitor, but also helps with the precise alignment of the speakers at ear level.Front slot port designThe bass reflex port maximises the bass efficiency of the speaker. The front arrangement not only provides a more direct radiation of the bass energy to the listener, but also allows the monitor to be set up close to the wall, which makes it much more flexible when it comes to placement options in the studio.Optimised tweeter protectionThe coaxial design with the tweeter mounted in the centre in front of the woofer makes the FX80 extremely robust. The woofer is therefore already equipped with a "protective shield". However, as the tweeter also needs to be protected, it has a small perforated grille in front of the sensitive silk cone.Imaging and bass responseHigh-quality drivers in a solid housing form the basis for transparent reference monitors, but only extensive listening tests and meticulous calibration of the crossover make this monitor a reliable working tool with absolutely precise bass response - and therefore a genuine Fluid Audio speaker.
