It is worth mentioning that the DSP, which uses a high-quality A/D converter from BurrBrown, only filters the woofer of the subwoofer. The signal path for the satellite speakers remains purely analogue and undergoes no A/D, D/A conversion. With the "Pure Satellite" function, when activated, the subwoofer and the DSP filter section are bypassed completely. In this case, the satellite signals are routed unfiltered to the outputs and only the volume of the satellites can be varied. The volume of the subwoofer and the entire stereo system can be controlled using the remote control supplied as standard with the subwoofer - all from the comfort of your listening position. The special feature of our extremely powerful and high-precision subwoofers is the passive cone used, which replaces the usual bass reflex channel. This design completely eliminates disturbing flow noise caused by air turbulence. Audible tube resonances (with lambda/2 + multiples) are due to the principle of an open tube on both sides (bass reflex channel) and can be eliminated with the passive membrane design in all EVE Audio subwoofers. Furthermore, the suspension of the passive cone has a restoring force below the tuning frequency, which reduces inaudible subsonic excursions. This means less excursion in the operating range and thus reduced intermodulation distortion.A passive diaphragm enables a particularly low tuning or lower cut-off frequency in a compact housing.
The Sub8 is a powerful active subwoofer with small dimensions that extends the playback range to below 30 Hz and can be customised in many ways to suit the acoustic conditions. It contains a special long-throw 8.5" chassis, which is driven by a powerful magnet and a 38 mm voice coil. ICE modules are used as amplifiers, which combine high performance with minimal heat generation and can easily cope with high loads over long periods of time. There are control options for volume (-60 to +6 dB) and phase switching (180°). Furthermore, the upper cut-off frequency of the subwoofer can be variably adjusted (50 - 150 Hz). A filter can be switched on for the satellite outputs, which blocks the signals from the satellites below 85 Hz, for example to reproduce a film soundtrack in accordance with Dolby® and relieve them of the low frequencies. It is also possible to either switch the subwoofer on or off manually or have it switch on automatically as soon as it receives signals (signal-on/continuous).The remote control supplied allows these controls to be set conveniently from the listening position.
The new IN-8 2nd Wave has an updated amplifier module and enables 12 dB less self-noise with a 3dB higher output. The tuning has been refined for even smoother high-frequency behaviour and the boundary EQs have been updated to enable practical settings. A new feature here is the preset for horizontal speaker positioning. Further updates include lighter transducer cones for faster transient response and an improved cabinet design for less natural resonance. As a further development of the successful LP-8, the IN-8 2nd Wave features its sophisticated bass reflex system and the same level-resistant woofer. However, instead of the usual tweeter with 3D imaging waveguides, a coaxial midrange/tweeter combination has been installed here. The profile-optimised 4″ midrange driver also functions as a waveguide. By limiting the peak excursion to 1 mm, intermodulation distortion, which otherwise occurs in coaxial systems, could be avoided. The midrange driver also relieves the woofer and tweeter, so the IN-8 2nd Wave plays more harmoniously and with less distortion than conventional 2-way studio monitors. The crossover frequency of the woofer is 280 Hz, making the IN-8 2nd Wave an acoustic point source. Phase cancellations on the vertical axis will be sought in vain here. Instead, the IN-8 2nd Wave has an even dispersion behaviour over the entire frequency response with excellent depth graduation and localisation. The stereo image also benefits from the coaxial arrangement and enables a detailed mix. Thanks to the "Boundary EQ" familiar from the LP series, the IN-8 2nd Wave can be adapted to different studio environments just as easily as its sister models.

With these new products, the French manufacturer is once again demonstrating its sound expertise and asserting its position as world market leader.PERFORMANCE & VERSATILITY:The Alpha 50 Evo and Alpha 65 Evo models are specially designed for music production and general music reproduction and ensure outstanding acoustic coherence regardless of the listening location. To further improve reproduction performance, Focal has opted for an aluminium tweeter with an inverted dome for wide sound dispersion and a carbon fibre cone. The recycled carbon fibre cone is manufactured exclusively by the French brand in Saint-Étienne and was chosen for its neutrality and dynamics. Focal is constantly revising its product range, drawing on over 40 years of expertise in the field of acoustics and its innovative strength. This is also underlined by the new large laminar port, which minimises distortion.NEW FEATURES:Evo stands for evolution. In addition to the analogue XLR and RCA sockets, the Alpha Evo monitors have a new TRS jack input (6.35 mm), an automatic standby mode that can be deactivated and inserts for wall and ceiling mounting: a truly versatile range (mixing, mastering, DJ, broadcasting). In terms of amplification, the speakers each have two Class D amplifiers. Their high current capacity gives you maximum control over the signal dynamics. In addition, high volumes can be achieved without distortion. Each speaker reproduces even the smallest details in the mix across all styles of music.DESIGN AND CABINET CONSTRUCTION:The monitors have a 15 mm thick MDF enclosure with internal bracing for maximum stability even at high sound pressure levels. The bass reflex design was chosen for easy acoustic integration even in the tightest of spaces. In terms of aesthetics, the classic cube shape of the monitor gives way to a design with rounded corners. The side panels ensure a sophisticated, robust and modern design that contributes to excellent acoustics and a unique and harmonious character across the entire range.
Switching between different signal sources and monitors is probably one of the most common tasks in any studio. With its ergonomic console design and two clearly structured operating levels, the Palmer MONICON XL is the perfect and intuitive control centre for all requirements. Audio sources and loudspeakers can be selected conveniently and easily at the touch of a button. The studio monitor controller from Palmer has three analogue stereo inputs, an S/PDIF input and outputs for three monitor pairs with individual volume controls for level adjustment. Either a mono monitor or a subwoofer can be connected via a further mono-summed full-range output. An exclusive highlight of the MONICON XL is the correlation meter for displaying the phase difference between the left and right channels of a stereo signal. This makes it quick and easy to detect mono compatibility errors in the mix. You can customise the controller to support your personal way of working. Thanks to its completely analogue audio circuitry, the MONICON XL has no latency or signal colouration. With additional functions that are important for every studio, the device is far more than just a monitor controller. Two headphone outputs with volume controls and main cue selector switches, a cue master control and a switchable, volume-adjustable talkback microphone are just as much a part of the equipment as a mute switch and a dim button with volume control, which reduces the monitor level by a preset value at lightning speed.
ADAM has developed a special kind of subwoofer for large control rooms and film studios: The Sub2100 combines a huge 543 mm diameter woofer and a power amplifier with 1000 watts RMS in a bass reflex cabinet tuned to 18 Hz. As the efficiency of this woofer is extraordinarily high (99 dB/W/m) and the power output is immense, this system can generate a sound pressure level of 128 dB SPL (!) at one metre, without any significant compression, linearly and powerfully down to 18 Hz.World's largest voice coil:What makes this woofer so fascinating, however, is the world's largest voice coil at 150 mm: The Sub2100 thus achieves the highest sound pressures in the lowest sound ranges that can be perceived by the human ear, setting new standards in the subwoofer sector.
The D3V is a fully active desktop monitor system designed for composers, producers and music lovers who want to enjoy ADAM Audio's sound quality as comfortably as possible. Available in white or black, the active monitors feature the legendary gold-coloured ribbon tweeter and remain true to ADAM Audio's established German industrial design. Each pair of active speakers features 3.5-inch aluminium bass-midrange drivers and a ferrite magnet system powered by 80-watt amplifiers. The bass-midrange drivers are complemented by double-sided 3.5-inch passive radiators, giving the D3V an extended frequency response down to 45 Hz.With 25 years of experience in the design and manufacture of ribbon tweeters, ADAM Audio has designed the compact 1.5-inch D-ART (Desktop Accelerated Ribbon Tweeter). It enables the precise, unagitated high-frequency reproduction for which the manufacturer's established monitors are known. The D3V has a USB-C input. Accordingly, the monitor system behaves like a digital output device when connected to a computer and does not require an additional audio interface for playback. This plug-and-play functionality also extends to mobile devices, so that high-quality sound reproduction can be enjoyed without the data compression or conversion typically associated with such connections. The D3V also features balanced 6.35 mm TRS inputs for conventional analogue audio applications. The rear of the left speaker has a series of user-friendly switches to solve the typical acoustic problems associated with speaker placement. The front panel also features a headphone jack and a volume control that simultaneously controls audio input selection, muting and other functions. The D3V comes complete with detachable monitor stands, which are inclined at an angle of 15° in the direction of the user's ears. In addition, there is a standardised 3/8" thread on the bottom of both monitors for mounting on microphone stands.Fully active 3.5-inch aluminium bass-midrange driver with ferrite magnet systemOptimised via ADAM Audio's state-of-the-art Klippel measurement system, the extremely symmetrical voice coils and ferrite magnets help to minimise unwanted distortion and provide a linear drive to the bass-midrange drivers. Each one-piece concave cone is made of ribbed, thick aluminium with a long linear excursion that delivers uncoloured sound even at surprisingly high output levels. The D3V is a fully active design with four amplifier channels and DSP-controlled crossover. The bass-midrange drivers are powered by 80-watt amplifiers, with the link connection cable transmitting an amplified signal to the right speaker.D-ART tweeterA quarter of a century of research and development into ribbon tweeters has led to the development of ADAM Audio's powerful 1.5" Desktop Accelerated Ribbon Tweeter. Each diaphragm is hand-folded and bonded to 40W amplifiers that drive each unit. Like all other ADAM Audio tweeters, the D-ART features a fine-tuned crossover managed by a high-precision signal processor.Passive radiatorThe D3V utilises double-sided passive radiators in each speaker, a total of four per system. Each passive radiator consists of a stainless steel plate as the moving mass and a specially stabilised long excursion rubber surround as the suspension. Together they amplify the lowest frequencies of the loudspeaker through their interaction with the main bass-midrange drivers and thus contribute to an increase in the sound pressure level of the overall system.USB-C direct inputThe D3V is ADAM Audio's most convenient monitor system to date, as it features a plug-and-play USB-C input. The speakers behave like a digital output device when connected to a computer, mobile phone or tablet, eliminating the need for an additional audio interface. This direct digital connection enables high-quality audio playback without the data compression or additional conversion typically associated with desktop monitors.DSP room acousticsThere are three switches on the rear panel of the left speaker to counteract the typical acoustic problems resulting from speaker placement. "POSITION" refers to the fixed position of the speaker in the room. "DESK" refers to the size of the desk in front of the speaker, while "ROOM" refers to the degree of acoustic damping in the room in which the system is used.Balanced analogue inputsIn addition to the USB-C input, the D3V has analogue inputs for conventional audio applications. It enables balanced connections to audio interfaces as well as direct connections to a wide range of hardware, including synthesisers, drum machines, samplers and DJ mixing consoles. The USB-C connection or the balanced analogue inputs can be selected by pressing the volume control on the left speaker.Headphone output, monitor stand and mounting optionsFunctionality and convenience played a major role in the design of the D3V. The headphone output on the front automatically takes over audio playback when connected. Monitor stands angled at 15° are also included. In addition, there is a standardised 3/8" thread on the underside of both monitors for mounting on microphone stands.Injection moulded housingThe housing of the D3V is made of high-quality ABS injection-moulded polycarbonate with thick walls and ample bracing to prevent vibrations and unwanted resonances. The rounded shape reduces unwanted sound diffraction at high frequencies while honouring ADAM Audio's long-established industrial design.
The 2Control with its innovative crossfeed stereo width control makes it possible for the first time to judge the stereo panorama of a mix on headphones in the same way as on loudspeakers. The concept has a consistent dual structure: Two channels, two sources, two sets of speakers, two sets of headphones - 2Control.The 2Control combines the two monitoring variants via loudspeakers and headphones in one compact, simple and high-quality controller: control the near-field and full-range monitoring as well as the headphone monitoring for two people with one central unit! Whether colleague or customer: someone always wants or needs to listen in. With the 2Control, this is centrally regulated - and done first class. The crosstalk of both channels can be adjusted to achieve an individually suitable stereo width. With the analogue crossfeed stereo width control, the range of application of the headphones is now considerably extended, as mixes can be assessed in the same way as with loudspeaker monitoring.Night-time home workers now have an alternative to full-range monitoring for assessing mixes in terms of room sound. Thanks to crossfeed control, headphone monitoring can not only be used as an analytical variant, but also as a fully-fledged secondary monitoring system. In addition, the 2Control - and thus familiar monitoring conditions - can be taken to other studios or production environments.SPL uses specially manufactured symmetry components for high common mode rejection and for operating long cable runs. Balanced connections reliably prevent interference or hum, so it is recommended to make balanced connections whenever possible.Unbalanced connections, for example from a CD player with cinch outputs or to a power amplifier with cinch inputs, can be made easily and without an adapter.Connect a mono speaker in addition to two stereo speaker sets. Or a subwoofer. Tip for working with headphones: Listen with a subwoofer so that you can physically feel the low bass.

The KH 120 II is based on the same acoustic concept as its highly acclaimed predecessor, but has been completely redesigned to improve performance in all parameters: deeper bass, higher sound pressure levels and even better resolution. The internal DSP enables phase-linear crossovers and room-adaptive calibration via Neumann's revolutionary MA 1 Automatic Alignment. When Neumann launched the KH 120 A on the market in 2010, it was the beginning of an ongoing success story. Since then, Neumann Monitoring has become the reference in countless studios around the world. The KH 120 II follows the same philosophy as its predecessor and in fact all Neumann studio monitors: maximum linearity, minimal distortion, no colouration and perfect adaptability to any acoustic environment. Thanks to performance improvements in all parameters and a powerful DSP engine, the reproduction gains even more clarity, which enables more efficient work. This results in mixes that work perfectly on all playback systems. With ease. The KH 120 II has an exceptionally linear frequency response from 44 Hz to 21 kHz (+/-3 dB). And that's not all: it also linearises the phase response! This means: clear mids with astonishing transparency as well as extreme accuracy in the time domain with precise impulse reproduction and finely resolved reverbs. This is made possible by DSP-controlled electronics with sophisticated crossovers that avoid the phase distortion caused by analogue filters. The internal DSP also sets new standards in tonal consistency. The KH 120 II is manufactured with the lowest tolerances of just +/-0.5 dB! And you can hear it: the stereo imaging is razor-sharp.The KH 120 II is designed for near-field applications with a recommended listening distance of 1 - 2 metres. It is therefore ideal for smaller rooms such as home and project studios as well as mixing and editing suites or as a surround speaker in large multi-channel applications. Thanks to its outstanding linearity in a portable format, the KH 120 II is also an excellent choice for setting up a temporary control room in professional quality for on-site recordings (e.g. orchestra/choir, live recordings, film, radio).Even the best loudspeaker only sounds as good as the acoustic environment allows. Neumann's Mathematically Modelled Dispersion™ (MMD™) waveguide guarantees a wide sweet spot and minimises desk reflections. However, the KH 120 II goes much further: its internal DSP allows it to be calibrated using Neumann's revolutionary Automatic Monitor Alignment. The MA 1 system (available separately) ensures that the DSP-based monitors are optimally matched to the room character and perfectly calibrated for the listening position. This results in a significant improvement even in acoustically treated rooms. The sound compatibility with other KH-Line studio monitors allows the KH 120 II to be used in mixed setups, e.g. for immersive monitoring. The KH 120 II offers both analogue and S/PDIF inputs for flexible connection options. In addition, the KH 120 II AES67 model offers integrated redundant AES67 audio network ports that are fully compliant with broadcast standards such as ST 2110, ST 2022-7 redundancy and RAVENNA. At the same time, the KH 120 II AES67 is compatible with DANTE®-generated AES67 network streams.
You can monitor your production via two switchable speaker pairs. A subwoofer is also switched on and off with speaker pair A.When the switch is in the centre position, the speakers are switched off, which is practical because you don't have to turn the volume control back. Two analogue stereo inputs can be connected to the Control One for players such as DA converters, CD players, mixing consoles, synthesizers or analogue tape machines/tape decks, which can also be mixed together (1+2).The selected input signal is output unchanged at the Line Out. This means that the Control One can be looped between devices without "losing" an output. If, for example, several people are to listen in via headphones, a headphone amplifier can simply be connected to the Line Out.You can also record the signal in analogue form or send it to a mixer for further processing. The Control One offers three monitoring modes. The default setting in the centre is "Stereo". To check the mono compatibility, set the switch to "Mono". The special feature is the channel swap function: L/R > R/Lreverses the stereo image. L/R becomes R/L. This is particularly important and extremely time-saving if you are looking for samples in the video dubbing that should match a scene with a direction of movement. If the direction is not correct, you normally have to load the sample into the DAW for channel swapping and swap the channels there before you can hear whether the sample fits. With the L/R > R/L function, this is no longer necessary. You can now swap the direction of movement in the sample library during pre-listening.The output stage of the headphone amplifier is designed as a push-pull amplifier in Class AB operation. The bipolar transistors share the amplification of the positive and negative half-wave, which produces a higher amplification and a higher output voltage than in Class A operation, in which only one transistor amplifies both half-waves.The output stage transistors are thermally coupled and therefore run particularly coherently, which contributes to a consistent and stable sound image. The power supply has a buffer circuit with low source resistance and thus ensures generous current reserves even when operating low-impedance headphones. The Phonitor Matrix has three setting parameters in the largest configuration: Crossfeed, Speaker Angle and Centre Level. In Control One, the centre level is preset to -1 dB and the speaker angle to 30°. These are the most commonly used values. The crossfeed function determines the crosstalk between the channels, the so-called interaural level difference. The intensity of the crossfeed is infinitely variable. At the beginning of the control path, the function is not in the audio path. It is only activated by adding it via a relay (hysteresis circuit). The audio signal therefore does not pass through the crossfeed stage if this is not desired.
The 8361A is the largest model in "The Ones" family from Genelec's SAM series. It offers the high resolution of a 3-way system with a low cut-off frequency. It also adapts perfectly to your listening environment. Automatic calibration and control is carried out via the GLM software, and up to 20 DSP filters built into the speakers are available to compensate for room influences. The sound image is linearised and the high resolution and transparency guarantee relaxed, analytical listening. With the Genelec 8361A, you can work without fatigue even in acoustically problematic rooms and make confident decisions. The coaxial chassis is the ideal point source, as the midrange and tweeter are located on the same acoustic axis. The 8361A delivers high sound levels without distortion and is also suitable for longer listening distances. In addition, the large DCW sound guide, which covers the entire front, ensures a wide listening zone, while the radiation remains linear and colouration-free towards the sides. Two oval woofers provide optimum directivity down to the lower frequency ranges. The speaker can be operated horizontally or vertically. Suitable subwoofers are the Genelec 7380 or 7382.

Rounded enclosure edges and optimised sound routing guarantee balanced dispersion, a precise stereo image and a wide listening zone. A long bass reflex channel ensures deep and precise bass reproduction despite the compact design. If more bass is required, the frequency range can be extended down to 30 Hz using the matching Genelec 7040 subwoofer.switchable filters allow the speaker to be customised to the installation location and room acoustics. The IsoPod stand decouples the monitor from the floor and allows it to be aligned to the listening position. Threaded holes and suitable accessories facilitate wall or ceiling mounting.
Avantone Pro, in conjunction with legendary mixer Chris Lorde Alge, has created the most faithful reproduction of the world's most iconic studio monitor. Now anyone can mix on the monitors that defined the "hitmaker sound". A tremendous amount of design work and attention to detail has finally made the "White Cone" monitors accessible to everyone! And now the world has got what it always wanted - an actively powered version: the CLA-10A! Black box. White cone. High frequency range. It's not known as the world's best - but it's known for being the world's best reference - the sound that makes hits.Since the discontinuation of the "white cone" studio monitor, replacement parts have become more and more expensive and less and less available. Avantone Pro has developed a near-exact replica of the original drivers. Utilising global resources and decades of experience in driver construction, the components have been faithfully reproduced and the materials updated to meet modern environmental requirements. The AV10-MHF dome tweeter has undergone a difficult engineering process to achieve the exact phenolic resin doping to match the original performance curve. The AV10-MLF woofer utilises specially manufactured mechanical parts to match the original. Avantone Pro worked closely with one of the original manufacturers of the original cone to achieve exactly the same stiffness and weight. The new moulded cone allows for more accurate matching than the original, making it possible to offer matched pairs of speakers for the first time today! One of the most frequently asked questions about the CLA-10A's is which version of the originals they are based on, and the answer is: all of them! The CLA-10A's have a completely new "Variable Tissue Paper Control". This VTPC can be used to simulate everything from vertical "m" models to horizontal "studio" models and everything in between. No more debate - VTPC has it all under control!Avantone Pro has decided to stay traditional and use a linear power supply with a massive old-school toroidal transformer to preserve the original sound.
The Lemur5 is a loudspeaker with a very linear frequency response that can also sound like other well-known studio monitors at the touch of a button. This is made possible by the Lemur5's built-in digital signal processor (DSP) in conjunction with the modelling technology and other components used in production. In addition to the six DSP presets, functions such as a three-stage low cut filter, a mid-range bell filter and a high shelving filter as well as a limiter on/off function and standby on/off are available for further room customisation. The 5-inch loudspeaker is equipped with a high-resolution aluminium tweeter and a Kevlar woofer. It is driven by Class D power amplifiers in conjunction with a DSP.This versatile and unique monitor can be used in the studio for near-field monitoring or for multimedia productions or for demanding hi-fi and AV playback.
The modern studio monitor stand with tilting mounting plate impresses with its functionality and stability. Thanks to the sturdy metal base with the 3-point support, the stand is always stable. The felt-covered supports also prevent unwanted impact sound transmission. The monitor plate can be adjusted to an angle of 12.5° and a depth of 45 mm. A stop bar provides additional safety. The height is fixed by an attractive folding lever and ranges from 800 to 1300 mm. The height can be gradually adjusted to the desired listening position in 50 mm increments.
The S2V is a classic 2-way system, developed for use in the near-field range. It is therefore perfectly designed for the requirements of small to medium-sized control rooms.A newly designed 7" woofer operates in the range from 35 Hz to 3 kHz and delivers a distortion-free foundation with a wide dynamic range thanks to innovative, modern ELE and SMA technology. The symbiotic interplay between the newly developed S-ART tweeter, which is handcrafted in Berlin, and the HPS waveguide ensures precise definition of the stereo image within a generously dimensioned sweet spot. The compact cabinet houses a 300 W PWM amplifier for the woofer and a 50 W power unit with A/B function for the S-ART tweeter, which deliver a maximum sound pressure level of 120 dB SPL per pair. The DSP board specially developed for the S-Series includes a perfectly tuned crossover for an extremely linear frequency response. Furthermore, two parametric level filters (one for the bass, one for the treble) and six additional fully parametric EQs with variable slope allow the monitor to be customised to the room or individual preferences. In addition, the DSP offers limiter-based protection mechanisms for the tweeter amplifier, digital AES3 inputs and various options for future expansions. Software updates and digital control via the computer can be easily carried out via the USB port. With its excellent impulse response and balanced sound image, the S2V makes it easy to localise individual sound events, making it an ideal solution for demanding studio environments.
Shape Twin, the secret weapon for everyone:One year after the launch of the Shape 40, 50 and 65 monitor models, Focal presents its new reference product in this segment: Shape Twin. The new flagship of the series offers two passive cones, a new woofer with Flax cone and the latest inverted aluminium/magnesium dome tweeter with M-profile. Like the Shape 40, 50 and 65 models, the Shape Twin is manufactured in France. Tailored to the requirements of near-field monitoring, the Shape monitors combine an ingenious design with various indispensable adjustment options for acoustic adaptation to small listening rooms. The Shape Twin is characterised in particular by its excellent coverage of the entire audio spectrum, an extended bass range and exceptional sound power for its size. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the monitor can even be used in the smallest of rooms. The decisive advantage here is the 2.5-way design, which allows precise assessment of the bass and lower mid-range frequencies that are typically difficult to control in small rooms.
