ADAM has developed a special kind of subwoofer for large control rooms and film studios: The Sub2100 combines a huge 543 mm diameter woofer and a power amplifier with 1000 watts RMS in a bass reflex cabinet tuned to 18 Hz. The D3V is a fully active desktop monitor system designed for composers, producers and music lovers who want to enjoy ADAM Audio's sound quality as comfortably as possible. Available in white or black, the active monitors feature the legendary gold-coloured ribbon tweeter and remain true to ADAM Audio's established German industrial design.Each pair of active speakers features 3.5-inch aluminium bass-midrange drivers and a ferrite magnet system powered by 80-watt amplifiers. This direct digital connection enables high-quality audio playback without the data compression or additional conversion typically associated with desktop monitors.DSP room acousticsThere are three switches on the rear panel of the left speaker to counteract the typical acoustic problems resulting from speaker placement. "POSITION" refers to the fixed position of the speaker in the room. "DESK" refers to the size of the desk in front of the speaker, while "ROOM" refers to the degree of acoustic damping in the room in which the system is used.Balanced analogue inputsIn addition to the USB-C input, the D3V has analogue inputs for conventional audio applications. It enables balanced connections to audio interfaces as well as direct connections to a wide range of hardware, including synthesisers, drum machines, samplers and DJ mixing consoles. Balanced connections reliably prevent interference or hum, so it is recommended to make balanced connections whenever possible.Unbalanced connections, for example from a CD player with cinch outputs or to a power amplifier with cinch inputs, can be made easily and without an adapter.Connect a mono speaker in addition to two stereo speaker sets. The Genelec 7370 is an active subwoofer from the SAM series (Smart Active Monitor). SAM means that the subwoofer can adapt to the room acoustics. This is done via a measuring microphone at the listening position and the GLM software (Genelec Loudspeaker Manager).There are 20 DSP filters available, which can also be edited manually. Disturbing room influences are significantly reduced and you achieve precise low bass reproduction. The A77H is a true midfield monitor in a 3-way design and thus the logical further development of the A77X. Thanks to the latest ADAM Audio technology, it also sets new standards in terms of richness of detail and spatial representation. You can monitor your production via two switchable speaker pairs. A subwoofer is also switched on and off with speaker pair A.When the switch is in the centre position, the speakers are switched off, which is practical because you don't have to turn the volume control back.Two analogue stereo inputs can be connected to the Control One for players such as DA converters, CD players, mixing consoles, synthesizers or analogue tape machines/tape decks, which can also be mixed together (1+2).The selected input signal is output unchanged at the Line Out. This means that the Control One can be looped between devices without "losing" an output.If, for example, several people are to listen in via headphones, a headphone amplifier can simply be connected to the Line Out.You can also record the signal in analogue form or send it to a mixer for further processing.The Control One offers three monitoring modes. The default setting in the centre is "Stereo". To check the mono compatibility, set the switch to "Mono". The special feature is the channel swap function: L/R > R/Lreverses the stereo image. L/R becomes R/L. This is particularly important and extremely time-saving if you are looking for samples in the video dubbing that should match a scene with a direction of movement.If the direction is not correct, you normally have to load the sample into the DAW for channel swapping and swap the channels there before you can hear whether the sample fits.With the L/R > R/L function, this is no longer necessary. You can now swap the direction of movement in the sample library during pre-listening.The output stage of the headphone amplifier is designed as a push-pull amplifier in Class AB operation. The bipolar transistors share the amplification of the positive and negative half-wave, which produces a higher amplification and a higher output voltage than in Class A operation, in which only one transistor amplifies both half-waves.The output stage transistors are thermally coupled and therefore run particularly coherently, which contributes to a consistent and stable sound image.The power supply has a buffer circuit with low source resistance and thus ensures generous current reserves even when operating low-impedance headphones.The Phonitor Matrix has three setting parameters in the largest configuration: Crossfeed, Speaker Angle and Centre Level.In Control One, the centre level is preset to -1 dB and the speaker angle to 30°. These are the most commonly used values.The crossfeed function determines the crosstalk between the channels, the so-called interaural level difference. The intensity of the crossfeed is infinitely variable.At the beginning of the control path, the function is not in the audio path. It is only activated by adding it via a relay (hysteresis circuit). The audio signal therefore does not pass through the crossfeed stage if this is not desired.

The 8361A is the largest model in "The Ones" family from Genelec's SAM series. It offers the high resolution of a 3-way system with a low cut-off frequency. It also adapts perfectly to your listening environment. Automatic calibration and control is carried out via the GLM software, and up to 20 DSP filters built into the speakers are available to compensate for room influences. The sound image is linearised and the high resolution and transparency guarantee relaxed, analytical listening. With the Genelec 8361A, you can work without fatigue even in acoustically problematic rooms and make confident decisions.The coaxial chassis is the ideal point source, as the midrange and tweeter are located on the same acoustic axis. The modern studio monitor stand with tilting mounting plate impresses with its functionality and stability. Thanks to the sturdy metal base with the 3-point support, the stand is always stable. The felt-covered supports also prevent unwanted impact sound transmission. The monitor plate can be adjusted to an angle of 12.5° and a depth of 45 mm. A stop bar provides additional safety. The height is fixed by an attractive folding lever and ranges from 800 to 1300 mm. The height can be gradually adjusted to the desired listening position in 50 mm increments.

The S2V is a classic 2-way system, developed for use in the near-field range. It is therefore perfectly designed for the requirements of small to medium-sized control rooms.A newly designed 7" woofer operates in the range from 35 Hz to 3 kHz and delivers a distortion-free foundation with a wide dynamic range thanks to innovative, modern ELE and SMA technology. The symbiotic interplay between the newly developed S-ART tweeter, which is handcrafted in Berlin, and the HPS waveguide ensures precise definition of the stereo image within a generously dimensioned sweet spot.The compact cabinet houses a 300 W PWM amplifier for the woofer and a 50 W power unit with A/B function for the S-ART tweeter, which deliver a maximum sound pressure level of 120 dB SPL per pair.The DSP board specially developed for the S-Series includes a perfectly tuned crossover for an extremely linear frequency response. Furthermore, two parametric level filters (one for the bass, one for the treble) and six additional fully parametric EQs with variable slope allow the monitor to be customised to the room or individual preferences. In addition, the DSP offers limiter-based protection mechanisms for the tweeter amplifier, digital AES3 inputs and various options for future expansions. Software updates and digital control via the computer can be easily carried out via the USB port.With its excellent impulse response and balanced sound image, the S2V makes it easy to localise individual sound events, making it an ideal solution for demanding studio environments.

The new flagship of the series offers two passive cones, a new woofer with Flax cone and the latest inverted aluminium/magnesium dome tweeter with M-profile. Like the Shape 40, 50 and 65 models, the Shape Twin is manufactured in France.
