The most striking feature of the FX series is the coaxially integrated tweeter, which is not - as is often the case - a horn, but a dome tweeter. And the computer-calculated housing shape not only looks extremely cool, but also significantly optimises the dispersion characteristics of the FX80.Coaxial driverIn the centre of the 8" woofer is a 1.2" silk dome tweeter. The unique design in this price segment creates a point sound source - in principle without disturbing phase deviations or overlapping of the individual drivers. The frequency response of the FX80 ranges from 35 Hz to 22 kHzDIP switch for boundary compensationIn many (home) studios, space is at a premium, which can have an unfavourable effect on the acoustics. The FX80 is therefore equipped with EQ switches that can be used to control the influence of acoustically difficult rooms as well as the resonances of a wall directly behind the speakers. Users will find important information about the function of the DIP switches on the rear panel, and their function is described in detail in the operating instructions.Class D and DSP-controlledThe "Class D" power amplifier of the FX80 always delivers a clean and constant performance and sufficient headroom. The integrated high-performance DSP takes care of the digitally controlled crossover, resulting in extremely consistent sound reproduction. This makes the FX series reference monitors the perfect solution for demanding home and professional recording studios.LED display on the front baffleThe LED on the front panel not only provides information about the on/off/bypass status of the FX monitor, but also helps with the precise alignment of the speakers at ear level.Front slot port designThe bass reflex port maximises the bass efficiency of the speaker. The front arrangement not only provides a more direct radiation of the bass energy to the listener, but also allows the monitor to be set up close to the wall, which makes it much more flexible when it comes to placement options in the studio.Optimised tweeter protectionThe coaxial design with the tweeter mounted in the centre in front of the woofer makes the FX80 extremely robust. The woofer is therefore already equipped with a "protective shield". However, as the tweeter also needs to be protected, it has a small perforated grille in front of the sensitive silk cone.Imaging and bass responseHigh-quality drivers in a solid housing form the basis for transparent reference monitors, but only extensive listening tests and meticulous calibration of the crossover make this monitor a reliable working tool with absolutely precise bass response - and therefore a genuine Fluid Audio speaker. A mix created on the FX80 will never disappoint on other audio systems.

The Sub8 is a powerful active subwoofer with small dimensions that extends the playback range to below 30 Hz and can be customised in many ways to suit the acoustic conditions.It contains a special long-throw 8.5" chassis, which is driven by a powerful magnet and a 38 mm voice coil. ICE modules are used as amplifiers, which combine high performance with minimal heat generation and can easily cope with high loads over long periods of time.There are control options for volume (-60 to +6 dB) and phase switching (180°). Furthermore, the upper cut-off frequency of the subwoofer can be variably adjusted (50 - 150 Hz). A filter can be switched on for the satellite outputs, which blocks the signals from the satellites below 85 Hz, for example to reproduce a film soundtrack in accordance with Dolby® and relieve them of the low frequencies. It is also possible to either switch the subwoofer on or off manually or have it switch on automatically as soon as it receives signals (signal-on/continuous).The remote control supplied allows these controls to be set conveniently from the listening position.

In terms of performance data, the A44H and the A7V are very close to each other. However, the A44H offers a very interesting housing variant: with its horizontal driver arrangement and a width of exactly 19 inches, the A44H can be placed perfectly on a studio rack as well as above or below a monitor or screen. This design is also ideal for use as a centre speaker in a 5.1, 7.1 or 3D monitor configuration. Two 4-inch long-throw woofers and an X-ART tweeter enable a wide frequency range. The DSP functions offer individual sound customisation options.

The T5V is an extremely budget-friendly 2-way nearfield monitor and has been optimised for use in smaller control rooms.The T5V has a 5" woofer that enables bass extension down to 45 Hz. The new U-ART offers a pristine and extended high frequency response of up to 25 kHz and represents a groundbreaking solution for high-resolution recordings and mixes on a tight budget. The U-ART tweeter features a precision waveguide with the same excellent dispersion characteristics as the High Frequency Propagation (HPS) waveguide used in the S-Series studio monitors. The very even reproduction of high frequencies by the waveguide ensures an incredibly wide sweet spot, which saves you from having to remain in a fixed position while working.A new cabinet with a small footprint, bevelled edges and a bass reflex port on the rear allows placement anywhere in the room, no matter how small. The T5V also features DSP-controlled crossovers and equalisers as well as analogue connection options (XLR/cinch). Powered by a 50 W Class-D amplifier for the woofer and a 20 W Class-D amplifier for the U-ART tweeter, the T5V achieves impressive peak levels of 106 dB SPL per pair. With its excellent acoustic properties, small dimensions and outstanding price/performance ratio, this studio monitor is very well suited for use in small control rooms for music production, video post-production and broadcasting.If you need even more bottom end: the T5V is compatible with the ADAM Sub7 and Sub8 subwoofers.

The T7V is a nearfield studio monitor and is designed as a vertically orientated 2-way system. The T7V has a 7" woofer that enables bass reproduction down to 39 Hz, while the cone of the U-ART tweeter offers an unadulterated and extended high frequency range of up to 25 kHz. The U-ART tweeter is fitted with a precision waveguide that has the same excellent dispersion characteristics as the High Frequency Propagation (HPS) waveguide used in the S-Series studio monitors. The very even reproduction of the high frequencies by the waveguide ensures an incredibly wide sweet spot, which saves you from having to remain in a fixed position while working.The metal rear panel of the T7V houses the bass reflex port as well as numerous controls and analogue connections. The U-ART tweeter is powered by a 20 W amplifier, while a 50 W amplifier drives the woofer. This powerhouse in a slim cabinet delivers an impressive maximum sound pressure level of 110 dB SPL per pair.The T7V's wide frequency response, wide dynamic range, excellent transient response, wide sweet spot and small footprint make it ideal for use in small control rooms for music production, video post-production and broadcast - an interesting option for the limited budgets that many facilities have to work with.The ADAM Sub8 subwoofer is the perfect complement to the T7V to extend the possibilities of low frequency monitoring.

The A-Series Monitor A7V is the successor to ADAM Audio's award-winning bestseller A7X. The A7V 2-way speaker is equipped with a newly developed 7-inch woofer - made from a multi-layer mineral fibre material (MLM) - and ADAM Audio's handcrafted X-ART tweeter. The A7V achieves a frequency range of 41 Hz to 42 kHz, a rotatable HPS waveguide and the integrated DSP technology allow optimal customisation to individual room conditions and personal sound preferences. Each diaphragm is hand-folded and bonded to 40W amplifiers that drive each unit. Like all other ADAM Audio tweeters, the D-ART features a fine-tuned crossover managed by a high-precision signal processor.Passive radiatorThe D3V utilises double-sided passive radiators in each speaker, a total of four per system. Each passive radiator consists of a stainless steel plate as the moving mass and a specially stabilised long excursion rubber surround as the suspension. Together they amplify the lowest frequencies of the loudspeaker through their interaction with the main bass-midrange drivers and thus contribute to an increase in the sound pressure level of the overall system.USB-C direct inputThe D3V is ADAM Audio's most convenient monitor system to date, as it features a plug-and-play USB-C input. The speakers behave like a digital output device when connected to a computer, mobile phone or tablet, eliminating the need for an additional audio interface. This direct digital connection enables high-quality audio playback without the data compression or additional conversion typically associated with desktop monitors.DSP room acousticsThere are three switches on the rear panel of the left speaker to counteract the typical acoustic problems resulting from speaker placement. "POSITION" refers to the fixed position of the speaker in the room. "DESK" refers to the size of the desk in front of the speaker, while "ROOM" refers to the degree of acoustic damping in the room in which the system is used.Balanced analogue inputsIn addition to the USB-C input, the D3V has analogue inputs for conventional audio applications. It enables balanced connections to audio interfaces as well as direct connections to a wide range of hardware, including synthesisers, drum machines, samplers and DJ mixing consoles. The USB-C connection or the balanced analogue inputs can be selected by pressing the volume control on the left speaker.Headphone output, monitor stand and mounting optionsFunctionality and convenience played a major role in the design of the D3V. The headphone output on the front automatically takes over audio playback when connected. Monitor stands angled at 15° are also included. In addition, there is a standardised 3/8" thread on the underside of both monitors for mounting on microphone stands.Injection moulded housingThe housing of the D3V is made of high-quality ABS injection-moulded polycarbonate with thick walls and ample bracing to prevent vibrations and unwanted resonances. The rounded shape reduces unwanted sound diffraction at high frequencies while honouring ADAM Audio's long-established industrial design.
